I've been lurking here for a little over a week trying to gather information to make smart purchases. The latest thing that I'm questioning is the effect of voltage and resistance on flavor. It seems most of the juice reviews I've read are not done with your standard battery and cartomizer, which is all I have right now. I did buy some M3 Clearomizers (ClearoCartos?) to use with my standard batts, but I didn't clean them prior to use and so my juice tastes like plastic. And I also think I'm using a sub-par juice, Vapor4Life. I'm pretty sure I've reached the conclusion that your standard 1mL cartomizer is not for me; too inconsistent. I am gonna try SI's cartos as a last resort. If I may be so informal and unorganized I'm just going to list the questions that I have. Otherwise I'll have pages of text explaining why I have each question.
Q1. If I want to get the best quality of flavor from a juice am I going to have to go away from the standard batt/carto?
Q2. Are dual coil tank cartomizers worth a crap?
Q3. Can you carry a DCT in your pocket and not worry about leakage?
Q4. Can a 3 week old bottle of juice all of a sudden lose it's flavor?
Q5. Is there such a thing as a small VV battery? (I really don't like the idea of feeling/looking like I'm vaping from a sonicare toothbrush, or a wooden box.)
Right now I am frustrated because I have a bunch of flavors that I don't like, either because they're bad flavors, or I don't have a good enough system to deliver quality flavor. I have let them steep for about 2 weeks and still no improvement on the stuff I have from Highbrow (Caramel, Creme Brulee, Belgian Waffle, and Cappuccino Diablo). The Waffle and Butterscotch from Vapor4Life seem to have gotten worse. I have an order in with Ms.T's for Crumb Cake, Bavarian Creme filled Doughnut, and Gooey Butter Cake, but I know that once I get them it'll be at least a week before I can try them because of steeping. In the meantime I'd like to try to get the best "delivery system" for flavor.
I guess what I'm looking for is something small, portable, and delivers great flavor. Can you help me?
My current plan is to buy some 1.5mL Phoenix XL BC 808s from GotVapes, and put them on my standard battery. I do live about 10 minutes from V4L, so I can run in there and buy a DCT if that is an option. I believe they have some tanks in the store that are smaller than the standard 3.5mL.
