I am extremely concerned about inhaling stray fiber from cartridge filling. I know that there is always stray fiber in the atomizer and there is a good chance of inhaling it which I suppose is not good for lungs at all.
So I have decided for dripping and may be go for more expensive cartomizers. Am I over reacting? Having fiber accumulating in lungs for years may be not much better if not worth than the tar from cigarettes.

Thanks,
Lenkost.

If you have a chance of inhaling fiber, I must ask... How hard are you pulling on that poor thing?

If the fiber cart filling fills your nightmares, then why not switch to a Pyramid Tea Bag filling or a Blue Foam filling and get rid of the fiber?

The fiber in the atomizer is the wick which the coil is wrapped around. At least it is an a 510 Joye atty.

If the fiber in the atty is still a scare for you then pull it out and go to direct drip only. Then there is only the stainless steel, nickel foam, ceramic cup, and coil wire left. It will not wick, but it will take a drip or three pretty well.

Hawaii! Yay haha
I've read somewhere on the web about someone putting a little screen inside the cartridge before putting the filler inside.

It sounds like a good idea to me, I will probably try this method: I'll take a hole puncher, and punch something like a coffee filter or similar material, and take all my blank cartridges (I ordered about 30) and in one sitting I'll pull out all the fillers, drop a punch hole piece in each one (probably using a tweezer or toothpick to help lay the piece flat on the bottom) then replace the filler).

I have a blu cigarette right now (waiting on my Joye 510 to arrive) and the blu cartridges have little plastic cups inside, with the filler inside the cups. A good way to keep the filler together. I might see if I can utilize those cups in the 510 cartridges :)

See the mouthpiece on the 510? Its designed to let air through and occaisionally a tiny bit of condensed vapor but notice juice doesn't come pouring out; thats the design. Its unlikely but not impossible you would inhale anything other than the vaporised juice, however I'm sure youre as unaware as I am as to what cigarette paper is made from and we BURNED that and inhaled it. Even if its 'only paper' it contains fibers.
Its not bad or wrong to be concerned about what you're inhaling NOW but as we weren't concerned about what we were inhaling THEN, it seems a little like shutting the stable door after the horse has left the State..
I drip btw cos i prefer it - I think its just easier than messing with carts, fibers or no fibers lol

I haven't heard anything about inhaling pieces of the fiber stuffing...it's usually wet with juice and packed in the cup...but hey you never know! Maybe a cart that has been modded with some other stuffing...i suppose...but i don't think you should be too worried about it, I'm sure the idiots trying to ban pv's would have included that if it was a big thing.
