It seems to me that there are a fair number of us chasing the latest rumor of a 'reliable supplier'. I'm wondering if the fact that the product is far from being mainstream and is produced in a country a half world away is the real issue, not the start up company re-selling it here in N.America. I'm sure some of these guys are just in it for a quick buck but most [including Innovapor] appear to me to be trying their best. I'll bet that a large portion of their orders arrive as defective or, never arrive being held up by Customs.
I'm not advocating it, but, if the product was examined by, and held to certain standards of production quality by the FDA [or what ever the latest greatest Government Agency might be] wouldn't that, in the long run, assure a good quality supply for both the re-sellers and us the end users?

Crand, before bringing the FDA into this thread, please read the Smoking Everywhere V. FDA Daily Docket Sheet Update

It's so much more complex than production and quality standards.

Yeah, I'm with you, the 'FDA' is probably not the best example to use. But this business strikes me as 'the wild west' and the result is product that in my limited experience has been difficult to obtain and is of hit or miss quality when you do get it. One thing is for certain, the more money folks like us spend on these products the more attention it will get from some agency. I'm just saying that if and when that comes the end result doesn't necessarily have to be a bad one. On a happier note, I'm enjoying my Innovapor 510 while typing this in a Marriott Hotel Room... pretty cool!

Yeah...my first as well. I didn't get the PCC so if that is the case i don't know what is going on. Someone over in the Innvapor thread said that it took 5 or six days for the package to reach USPS after they were informed of the shipment...Something is very odd about all of this.

I think that was me and what happened is that when the usps tracking said that they were "sorting" I figured that it had just arrived at the post office, yet the package came the very next day. I figured that the post office tracking was so far behind that when they reported 'sorting' that they had already shipped it out 2 maybe 3 days prior to the 'sorting' notice?!! ... since I don't think it could get from Idaho to Ohio in a day.

Then others chimed in and said that they got the same notification on the usps tracking and also got their package the next day. My conclusion from that is that it was the usps that was screwed up in those cases. Still there were other cases that had different scenarios having to do with the onslaught of new orders, Noah's personal things, etc. My package avoided that but my friends were just a few days after me got caught up in it. Still, it ended up being faster than China orders.

Yeah....my first order just says that on the 18th USPS was electronically notified that they would receive the package. I finally got that number last night from millie. I dont have much faith right now. I really think its still sitting somewhere in IVs building.

When you say "sorting" is that what the USPS tracking stated as the status? I have never seen that one before.

When you say "sorting" is that what the USPS tracking stated as the status? I have never seen that one before.

It's part of one of the programmed 'blurbs'. First I get the usps has gotten notification of an order' - I assume that this means what it says, iow, not package has arrived but only the notification by the vendor that one is on it's way. So it is rather useless as far as 'timing' goes but useful in that it shows intent to ship.

I always interpretted the 'sorting' notice that it has arrived and is in the process of being sorted - but that simply cannot be the case when the package arrives the next day - unless you're in the same city perhaps. And since I've never gotten any type of 'enroute' message from usps tracking because the package arrived and I never checked after that fact perhaps, the whole usps tracking site seems pretty useless - at least in my experience which by now is getting extensive.... I don't even check unless it hasn't gotten here in a week (some China orders) or I simply email the vendor and ask what's up.

I've never failed to get a response, esp. from Noah or Mark. And what they've told me has turned out to be the truth. I'm really sorry for those that haven't had that experience. And while I haven't attacked them or called them names in email I have expressed my extreme frustration on an order made by some friends who were just starting and ask me for a url. One could say I read them the riot act but without calling them assclowns or assuming things about themselves or their family. (and not saying you have, btw :)

Could you give me some pointers on reading them the riot act without name calling and the like??? Every time I or someone else contacts them its a different story! Last night was "I hasnt shipped yet but here's your number...If it doesnt ship tomorrow write us back." So I did...then I got "Its the whole atty/cartridge thing...they are supposed to be here today, sorry..." I am taking that to mean that my order probably will NOT ship again tomorrow either...Now granted, I order a week ago. But you know, orders should not be a week in process with no legitimate information. If its going to take a while, let me know...Dont give me a number of stories or answers that just are not true (which has happened to quite a few people, and I have no reason to believe or not believe to be honest)

No contact unless customer enacted is the problem I have.

I have left messages three times, once asking for a tracking #. I have not received a reply from any of them.

Yes I did call once, with the reply we are working hard to fill orders. That's all good, but they said my order should be sent out either yesterday or today and I haven't received any notice.

A big long vacation in a non-smoking room. Urgh! I did receive my PCC case from enother vender. Should have ordered the e cig from them also but silly me believed the (we go to the post office at least twice a day thing, and orders shipped within 24 hours.

You do know that there is a gaurantee if your order isn't shipped in 24 hours you get 10% off your next order. I didn't know about the codes until after I ordered and then found out about all the shipping delays. So I didn't get the discount either.

If it wasn't for the fact I expected these for my trip I wouldn't be upset about this at all. I don't know, I think dissapointed is probably the more accurate word.

One of my posts when the threads were in the suppliers general forum was rather pointed and an email to the same effect - basically that I 'sold' my friends the concept gave them the innovapor url and when they don't deliver it's not only a reflection on them but in this case, me also. Truth works, lies don't. Tell the truth or they'll never order another thing from you ever and if you do that enough, you'll go out of business.... not verbatim but close. And then I followed up on every response with details of the progress. And I got answers to my questions.

Not to reopen a wound but on the subject of atomizers. Prior to the whole new atomizer issue the website showed and stated we would all receive the wide gold band atomizers. However I received the standard thin gold band (no I didn't get the new style either even though my order shipped after that annoucement). At this point I'm happy to have something period, but is this even worth inquiring about? Are the wide band ones any better/different? Did anyone else get a thin instead of wide? I'd prefer this doesn't wander off into the whole new atomizer debate, just asking about the old ones.

I think the thin bands are the new ones. The wide band is the Titan style.

That is correct.

While it may be correct regarding this new atomozier being a thin band, it is not really what I was asking.

Again this has nothing to do with the new atomizers. Prior to anyone even hearing about these new atomizes the inno webpage listed two types of atomizer, thin band, wide band. It stated everyone would receive the wide band unless you special requested the thin band. Again nothing to do with these new ones, at all.

Wow, I'm another one that has been dropping their link into a lot of threads. I hope Noah gets this straightened out soon. I really love the Evo and Ecopure.

My last order:

"Order Number: 329
Date Ordered: Monday 06 July, 2009"

Today's status:
"Status: Electronic Shipping Info Received"

I did use a coupon to get 25% off though, so I'm a few days from getting upset.
I'm just jonesin' for the Ecopure and using my last bit sparingly.

Worse comes to worst, RY4 cut 50% with VG makes a decent substitute for Ecopure Rich.
QFT - Still nothing, no package, no email.... Nothing
