I just purchased this mod (I'm very happy with it) and now I'm hearing that there is a updated version coming in Feb.(2016). I contacted innokin and I received this email (will paste below).
It states that the new version will have tc for ss. Now it also says that anyone with the first version will be able to have it updated through an "authorized dealer". If that is the case why don't they just provide a way to do it through there website. Anyway, if anyone has any info or thoughts, I would appreciate hearing them. Thanks.

Yes, we are going to release a upgraded version of Cortex in Feb.
Compatible with SS coil in TC mode, that is the upgrade. The previous Cortex can be updated by Innokin Authorized vendor (firmware upgrade).
