Okay so I thought this thing was gonna be amazing!!! NOT (for me)

I have to draw so hard on it and I don't get much flavor, just not finding it to be worth the hype. I'm using my eGo C-Twist at about 4.0-4.2 I can't see anything that tells me the ohms on the darn thing. Am I missing something? I was so excited when it came, now I am dissapointed. Hope someone can turn it around for me :(.

I'm gonna switch to a different juice, the one I'm using is 70pg/30vg, very dark juice. I'll report back...in the meantime any advice?

-deb

p.s. it looks and feels really cool

I have an iClear 30, and yeah, it does have some leaking issues. I find that if you don't fill it all the way to the max line, you'll have no issues with it. For a while I was confused cause I wouldn't get much vapor, or anything... and the juice was starting to leak into the battery. Just don't fill it to the max line and you really shouldn't have no problems with it.

I'm using my iClear30 for the first time today, and it's working out quite well. I can almost say I like it better than my Vivi Nova. I made the mistake of forgetting to put the plastic cap back on, and it didn't draw at all. lol But so far so good aside from the drip tip being a weird size and metal. Hopefully the OP gets it resolved as it is a good clearo though definitely a juice hog that makes me vape at 9.5 watts.

Picked up iClear 16 and 30 today. Only halfway through the first fill on the 30 right now. Didn't wash it before using. Just filled it up and started vaping. Been using Vivi Nova's exclusively for the past 8 months, rebuilding the heads with bamboo. The Vivi Nova's have to be run at pretty low voltages to work right. I was happy with them overall. But, the iClear 30 can take a lot more voltage and hits almost too hard (guess I'm not used to it yet). At 4v this thing will almost fill a small room with vapor. Flavors a little odd though, maybe because its the first fill and/or that I didn't clean it first. Any way, no leaks, draw is not as tight as I feared (actually just right for me) and definitely no dry hits. Looking forward to filling the 16 and comparing them.

i am so frustrated with the effin iclear 30, horrible leaking and gurgling issues and vapor production is horrible. I have tried 3 seperate iclear 30's and all the same. And the metallic flavor that comes out of it is hideous. i washed all of my iclear 30's before use and still horrible flavor. the eliquid taste fine buts its an added metallic taste. I'm about to give up and toss them all in the trash. Someone please tell me what i am doing wrong before i go insane. All the reviews on this thing made seem like it would be the greatest tank around but i have had nothing but bad luck. Please chime in and help me out.

Soaked mine in boiling water for 5 minutes, 3 times. Dried the wick and the odd taste I initially had was gone. Happy camper now.

Also, it is my firm belief that ALL clearo's will leak/gurgle sooner or later. It's the current state of the art. Doesn't stop me from enjoying them. Like almost all things in vaping today, they're just fiddly.

Send 'em to me! I'm having great results. Best flavor and vapor yet from a clearo. See my post above for cleaning.

Your not missing anything .. it just doesnt work well .. It provides nice vapor, but the flavoring is horrible .. i tried it out for a bit and was extrelmely dissapointed ..

GO WITH THE PRO TANK.

Interesting assessment--you are perhaps the ONLY one on the entire internet that feels that way...

The iClear-30 is not going to vape wonderfully right out of the box. It takes a little while to "break in". I must have vaped 1.5-2ml through mine before it really "opened up". Now that it is broken in, the flavor and vapor is wonderful...

I always clean new devices in Everclear before I use them--usually an overnight soak and then I let the parts all air-dry for a day before re-assembly and vaping.

No metallic taste in mine. No leaking. No problems at all, other than the fact that because it's a dual coil, it suck batteries, and plows through juice...

The metallic taste you are getting may be from the metal ming. If your mouth is acidic, it could be causing that flavor to come through. Do you drink carbonted soft drinks or citris-juice-based drinks when you vape--that can cause your mouth to be acidic, and cause a reaction with the stainless steel which gives you a slight metallic taste...

i cleaned my atomizer heads in rubbing alcohol then boiled all the parts to the tank. still bad taste. i going to vape on it for a while and see if it clears up. what is the optimal voltage for these things. also i am having terrible issues with leaking. what can i do about that. i filled it up to about 2.5 and still getting liquid all over the top of my battery. So frustrating. Hehe, and to top it off, i got my itaste svd in the mail today along with some batteries and a charger, the batteries have been charging for 4 hours and still not done so i havn't been able to try out my svd yet. Im not usually one to complain but my day is going as i would have liked it to go today. I had such high hopes.
