Hi everyone,

I've bought an innokin itaste hunter as a replacement to my coolfire iv tc100 - i've had to invest in new batteries as well as a nitecore recharger.

I'm having serious issues with the battery life - i get about 20 minutes of use out of this mod before needing a recharge. I took the batteries back to the shop and got those replaced, no difference, i then returned the mod and got a replacement - again no difference.

Whats going on, what am i doing wrong here?

Help is much appreciated!

hello craigg1986, and welcome to the mighty ECF :toast:

well that is JUST WHAK !

I have a Hunter and seem to get GREAT battery life
I get the biggest part of a day at least, out of mine...

I've been rollin' about 25w/310° on a .6Ω SS coil
then switch it up to like 10w-13w on occasion...

mostly use 30Q's and HG2's / but then some 25R's also

you didn't say WHICH batteries you're using ??????????????????????????????????????????????????

what set-up are ya running ( .001Ω @ 70w ? ) with a 1500mah battery

wish I had more for ya but that's all I got

let us know...

Tell me about it! I'm new to the battery game as the coolfire is all internal.

This is what my battery says:

18650 2100mAh 3.7v I think it's Sony also if that helps.

The tank I'm using is an aspire cleito with .6 coils.

Does this help?

I'm also vaping at about 55-65 wattage

OK, I was goofin with the 70w

that would be your problem with battery life...
if you are vaping that high of power you probably should be running a ' dual battery ' unit
60w-70w is pushing the edge of the SINGLE 18650 limit

;)

or maybe a "26650" battery device...

I think the SS coils are 0.4 ohm, but there is a 0.4 that's made of Kanthal that rates wattage at 40-60 watts that might be better. You can't use with TC, you'd need to stay on VW mode. I don't have a Cleito, so maybe someone will chime in. If you're under 60 watts, there's also some 20A 3000mAh batteries that could give you more run-time.

Yeah that's why i went with them, on a side note i went to the shop today to try return the current batteries and they said they don't think it's the batteries but have offered to test my mod/batteries/recharger. So will see what they say once they've tested it.

If they say it's the mod again i'll have to wait till the new batteries arrive and see what difference they make. The batteries were £24 so quite expensive!

They said its unlikely to be the batteries as they've replaced them for me before however the same can be said for the mod, what a nightmare!
