My Innokin iTaste MVP was the result of a free raffle drawling from an AltSmoke B&M grand opening. It has a smooth finish, and has native eGo threading and a beauty ring 510 adaptor. Received this about 3 weeks ago.

It came with two Innokin iClear 19 clearomizers (eGo skirt) which fit and work great without the adaptor. It will also fit the iClear 30 clearomizer which is 510 threaded as well as the 510 threaded Kanger Protank with the beauty ring adaptor. However, it will not fire my Ikenvape cartomizers in my IBTanked cartotanks either with or without the beauty ring.:grr:

I bought the blue steel, which is more like a nice gray color. The finish of the body is like that of ego batteries -- slightly grippy. The top and bottom are plain stainless steel (?). Ego and 510 threading. Ivape.

To tell you the truth, I don't think there are any original versions, with the non-ego threading on the market anymore. I could be wrong, but if a manufacturer releases a newer, updated version, vendors usually have the ability to return their stock to receive the new versions (at least in most retail settings).

The new itaste VTR is due out 8-15-2013. And the new MVP is due out shortly thereafter, with all the bells, whistles and ohm readers included.

I got mine at FastTech, this past Saturday, it has 510 and Ego threading... The finish on the connector it's textured.. btw, it took 15 days to get from China to my front door in Central Florida..
Yeah I saw that great price!! However I'm all about instant gratification, maybe I'll drive up to Kissimmee this weekend & get one. There's a $25 impatience fee..lol.
