Hey Puff, if your looking for a replaceable battery mod, take a good look at the cloupor mini+. I'm really liking this box.

Or the Cloupor mini, if the TC the + adds isn't a wish, and you find it for a better price. Yep, nice little units.

ya know I’ve looked at the clouper mini’s
there is a few things I don’t care for about them…

then back in the day they had electical troubles
and I guess that just kinda stuck in the back of my mind

•22mm looks to big on it
•no locking adjustments
•battery door, no bottom ledge

I will add one more worry. I too like them. No I did not have melt downs however after about three months of fairly heavy use the fire buttons got mushy on two 30w units, lost click. eventually did not fire every time. I will say the 50w seems to have a better switch. For longevity stick to innokin.

Yes, the first release of the Mini had some with a bad charging component, which Cloupor was actually very quick to acknowledge and fix. They didn't try to blame users, a pleasant change from what many makers do... (Although I always use a real charger. Easier for me to just pop a fresh one in and charge the depleted ones when convenient. Heck, that's one of the reasons I use mostly replaceable battery mods!)

And while I can't say quite the same as you, Vapie, I've had two of mine in regular rotation for 6 months and longer, with no button issues on either.

Remember the button issues with the first SVD? Mine went soft after just a couple months - but still works :)

I run an Achilles on it and think it looks boss. I am a fairly active person and I like small and pack-able. I have others for the coffee table.

•no locking adjustments

??? Hold the + and - at the same time to lock settings or do you mean 510? The 510 hasn't given me any problems.

•battery door, no bottom ledge

I really thought this was going to be a deal breaker for me but with the battery in it stays in place fairly well and isn't a big deal. If you drop it you are chasing the battery and door around the deck. The I know this fact from several hard drops (hard enough to dent the corners). I had to pry the negative contact back up a couple of times from squashing it on impact and still it keeps on taking a licking.

So far so good. No reports of that kind of problem with this version and there were several given away here to some very vocal members. If they were flaky then I think we would have heard about it.

I typically run mine with KFs, and they're, imo, a fine fit.

(Ola X Hero 30w in the middle. Also a good choice, but much heavier.)

Yeah, but they have gone away from 18650's so I can see why people are looking elsewhere.
But I got my MVP PRO the other day, and I do love it!
It's my first internal battery mod, but this thing is perfect for me!
I am going to see how long a charge lasts me after I drain down my 18650's to 3.6 volts to put into storage.
A single sammy 25 lasts me about 3-4 days, so I might get a week +.

I love the look of the OLA X!

Its performance matches its looks :)

But it is a bit on the heavy side, a concern for some.

Yet because of its shape, I find it very comfortable to hold and use - in any style grip, index or thumb fire. Adjustable 510 pin. (The Cloupor Mini was adjustable, they went to floating on the Mini+)

Yes, yes! I too must admit to being seduced by Ola X Hero. I too love how it feels in either hand. It is a nice hefty piece that is silky slick. You wrap your fingers around it comfortably.

Ola X seems to have converted me to some erotic dark side, away from being an Innokin Jedi. My poor MVP 2 is in a drawer collecting dust. It still reminds me of R2 D2 to look at it. The Ola X looks like a cross between a bullet, or mini-pipe bomb. My wife calls it a grenade, and yes it kind of looks like a 40mm tube grenade.

Hm & hm, hm hm ...

Excuse me, off to watch it snow. hehe. :)

I could of sworn i was in the "itty bitty" mods thread because it's certainly not an Innokin one .

My God what happened to the so called Innokin loyalists ? Even the leaders of the Innokin brand completely sold out and jumped ship over a year ago .

Some of us Innokin loyalist are still around though , Innokin is still the best made mods in the e cig industry to me and the only one worth spending money on imo , but it is what it is , just extremely shocked thats all.

Innokin till the end lol.
