I saw that report a few months ago, Dave. In the mean time World Snooze Tonight, ABC, just did a piece on exploding e-cigs and the pending FDA regulations. ANTZ are ANTZ.

ANTZ is definitely out to eradicate anything that produces vapor or smoke.

I've vaped constantly for almost 6 years (after quitting a 40 year 2 PAD cigarette habit), and experienced no effects from vaping other than that my lungs are clear and I can exercise without huffing and puffing. I walked 29 miles in 5 days at Disney and Epcot last year according to my pedometer. I didn't get winded and felt good doing it. I'll be 65 next month.

Since I've been vaping I've started an exercise program 4 or 5 days a week where I do 140 reps in 7 sets with 40 pounds on a curl bar and I do a couple of sets on my Total Gym. Then, I ride 12 to 13 MPH for 6 miles peaking at 80% resistance on my stationary elliptical bike. I'm hoping to live a couple more decades at least! My heart rate returns to normal quickly when I get off the bike.

Sitting down, facing forward.
I'll give them that they said one of them was a "modified" e-cig and they showed a few shots of people vaping, a 134, a Vamo style. From what I've seen, almost every time it has happened it's been user error, either pushing too hard, unprotected battery in a pocket with keys or change or left, unattended, on a charger of questionable quality. The media loves a good horror show, though, especially if they can help us protect ourselves from ourselves.

Here is a super deal on a red only - paypal only but US shipped MVP 3.0 for $19.00!

Innokin iTaste MVP V3.0 - $19.99

I picked one up just because.

**EDIT: I just got an e-mail saying they are out of red in the US warehouse and would black be ok. I happily said yes, so it seems like black is the color at this price.

The guy in Tennessee had his RX200 in his pocket with his keys with no side cover on the multi-battery 18650 mod. He said he lost the screws to the side cover. There's all sorts of DUH moments where people didn't understand the dangers or were reckless.

That's my point...Willful ignorance and self responsibility are never to blame, it's always the device whether it's a lawn mower, hot coffee or an e-cig.

Man , Innokin is just so out of touch with what people want and i'm a big fan , it's mind boggling how lost they really are .

When i saw pic's of the new VTR i almost threw up .

All I've seen is a photo that was pasted in their Waste Book pages -

That's a (new) VTR? Can ya say CoolFire? Wow. I don't see that as ugly at tall. Does anyone here actually own one? (Or are they even available yet.... no klue on Innokin stuff anymore.)

Please let me know if you find any VV4's at a discounted price! I love my VV3s and would like some of the like for my stash too.
I already have enough SVD2's and other 18650 mods.
I just hope Kat doesn't find them first and buy them all!

OMG!! I hadn't even finished reading your post before thinking, yes, perhaps it's time for a VV4!

I'll anxiously await @gerrymi for the super deals. :D

And mdude, of COURSE I'll save one for you. :nun:

Is this for REAL????

I just received an e-mail from them saying they are out of red in the US warehouse and could they send me a black one instead. I said black would be fine thank you (actually my first choice). Seems legit to me. I thought shipping was just a little high ($5.50 flat rate) but again, at that price I was ok with it.

The link now defaults to black.

I picked up my MVP 3.0 Pro on sale for $35.23 with free shipping at Vapor Beast a while back. Crazy sales are appearing on that mod. It's a great vape with a 4500mah battery. It's borderline large for pocket carry and the corners and edges need to be more rounded for comfortable handheld use, IMO, but I don't regret buying it. I use it in rotation around the house along with my Smok Koopor Plus 200W, which is kind of huge with two 18650's, but has a nice feel in the hand.

For that price, I'd have bought two. One day, they might outlaw mods if the state governments have their way. We need at least 10 backups, IMO. :D

I haven't seen the VTR in person. Coolfire IV is definitely a good stealth carry mod. It's the one I grab when I don't want a huge mod weighing down my pocket.

The sale is on the 3 not the 3 pro. It is not as big 30w and 3800mah. For $19 it is a steal!

Hence my move over the years to only replaceable battery mods. And NOT with proprietary batteries, sorry, Innokin. (Although I do like my two SVD2s)

It is a disposable device. It will eventually wear out regardless of the deeming regs. that I don't think we are going to see. The things that make them good still makes them good (extremely durable, charge any where, no extra charger and batteries, etc.). The thing that makes them bad (eventually they die (as do 18650's) still apply. I have plenty of replaceable battery mods in case of the Vapeopolypse, but when I head out for a day in the woods or on the water the MVP with it's large battery capacity, unmatched dependability, and its ability to take a beating like no other mod I have met still make it an extremely good value. It is also still my number one recomendo for the new vapor for whom the plug and charge is just so much easier and convenient when getting started.

Different strokes, Capt, and yes, not needing to get safe batteries and good charger is a good argument for those starting out. Keep it simple at first, better chance of success.

I surely hope you're right on never seeing the deeming, but don't share your optimism. And there are too many local and state regs already in place or in the pipeline. The county I live in essentially banned flavor testing in shops - unless they put in "approved" air exhaust systems and have regular health dept inspections. Onerous taxes, bans on interstate commerce and other atrocities are already in place here and there, not to mention what the EU is attempting / doing across the pond...

So, while I do hope (and agitate/work) for the best, I tend to plan for the worst.

My sentiments too. I have spent my life hoping for the best but planning for the worst!
I thought I was looked down upon as a smoker, but vaping has demonized beyond belief by the media and local and state and federal officials. They don't need science to back up their agenda, just beliefs.
