Forgot to ask if the battery depletes by leaving it in the mod , i know the Cana clones are a nightmare and known for terrible battery life because the things don't turn completely off.
David, thanks and i will try to get a good pic of it and post it on here. But yeah, i just tried an Aspire ET-S that has an ego threading and it worked, so the center pin must be okay or it wouldn't of fired....i just can't use my nautilus mini or any other 510 threading. That is until i get one of these adapters.
VapieDan, thank you for that third vendor link...will definitely check it out. I just can't believe that it's only been two months, so i'm thinking it had to be somewhat defective when i bought it.
Caroloto, well i did take it to the B&M today in hopes they would have an adapter or at least help me out in some way.....nope, they just said it was past their 30 day warranty and wanted to sell me another MVP! *disgruntled look* From here on out, i plan on finding my supplies and future mods at a reliable vendor online or look for another B&M here in my town. They even said that this adapter (was telling them about it) probably wouldn't work due to not having enough contact with the center pin on my MVP.....lol They really must have wanted to sell me a new mod....but they won't be getting my business anytime soon.
Innokin gives a 90 day warranty, but by the time i paid for shipping to California (i live in kentucky)...i could probably buy a new one. Plus, they would probably say it was the "users" fault....so i figured it would be best to just find an adapter since this was my main vape mod until i can afford to get an eleaf istick.

That being the case, that an ego threaded topper goes on and works, verifies that the adapters will work for you - no pics needed now, but then again, pics are always fun
Yeah, B&Ms are hit and miss. Bad luck that your local is a miss
But in general, online prices will be lower. Some B&Ms are only marked up a reasonable amount for their increased overhead, some (many?) are way out of line. But if they want to survive, they really need to offer stellar customer service. Otherwise, why pay their price? (And what's wrong with this picture - manufacturer warrants for 90 days, sell for 1/3 that time...) Yeah, I'd take my business elsewhere too!Maybe get 2 adapters. Spares of everything are always good.
Heh... I'm just sitting here WISHING I had the funds to get a black one. That would look excellent under my gold kayfun.

During the "Deal of the Day" sale they moved a bit more than 60 out of 100 available. That may not have been their total stock, but since the standard price is now identical to the DOD sale price, I'd expect they'll move them fairly quickly. I believe this is a closeout and they aren't planning on stocking more of them from what I understand. My black one arrived today and it's every bit as nice as my stainless version. I've mixed and matched parts and they are all interchangeable...the look is pretty neat with the black body and stainless end caps. If you can swing the cash, it is a phenomenal mod. I have to agree with others that the buttons take some getting used to, but they are nicely done. The screen placement is really a function of the DNA board's arrangement so I don't think there is much that Innokin could have done there...even the Mark Bugs DNA tubes have a similar orientation. I had been wanting a Wizard Evolved/Wizard's Apprentice, but now that I have two of these I've sated that desire.

All this talk about the low price has me fighting the urge to fill my shopping cart.. Truth be told, I almost bought one when the price dropped to $79.99--and now it's half that. But my MVP 3.0 just arrived on Monday and the SVD's size makes it kind of hard to hide from the wife....

I got my initial set up from Vaporbeast and they were really helpful and nice. The only problem is they ship USPS and had to make a special circumstance to ship my order UPS so I'm hesitant to keep asking them to do that.
Darn it.... you all finally talked me into the SVD2. Ordered the black this morning, already shipped. (And the Vaporbeast code still worked!)

It is big. Grab it by the atty and swing it and you could put a hurt on some one. I don't really see myself carrying it around a lot but it will make a good coffee table mod/dry burn tool. I kind of like a tube mod in my hand around the house. I have my kayfun on it with a 1.1 coil at 13w and it is a smooth vaper this DNA Evolve is!
I don't have a huge need for anything over the 15w of my sigelei and vamo, but I like that you can use a slightly lower-resistance coil; I usually try to aim at about 1.3, but sometimes it can vary, I'm so far from an expert it's not even funny, and it would be good to know that the mod would still work even if the coil ended up a bit lower than intended.
I noticed it said that it comes with different tube lengths, so would it work with a 18490/18500? I find those to be a good compromise between size and mAhs. That was the one thing I disliked about my Vamo, so long with an 18650 but those 18350s are a pain with the constant changing -- I was complaining about that in some thread, months ago, and edyle mentioned that a Chi You Kick ring would fit a vamo, and be the "missing link" for using an 18490/18500. I ordered one of those in the brass finish from FT back in early Feb, and I FINALLY!!! got it this week -- and it really works!!!

I agree they could have made it a bit smaller, but I think the form of the DNA chip and the functionality of the replaceable top cap limited their choices. The only area where they could have made significant reductions in size is on the battery cap I believe. They could have gone with a OD on the threads for the top cap and reduced it a bit. Maybe they could've reduced the DNA tube portion somewhat as well. My feeling is that they could have saved about .5-1 inch with modifications to the caps and the DNA tube. But, if they had done that we wouldn't all be getting such a sweet deal on this awesome mod...so I'm perfectly happy with the size.
One thing I've done is also order replacement 510 and battery caps in stainless for my black version. It looks vey nice with the black tube and stainless end caps...with the added benefit of blending in all of my stainless atty's a bit better.
The SVD 2.0 in pictures looks huge but when i got it i was surprised at how compact it was , this thing is very high quality through and through , it really is and at $34.95 it really is a steal imo.
