It doesn't bode well that Vaporbeast couldn't blow them out at Cloupor Mini prices. The SVD 2.0 is a far superior mod to my Cloupor Mini and the Mini is a good little device. Innokin must really be having a hard time moving these...which is too bad since it I don't want Innokin and Evolv to stop working together. I've said it before, but if Innokin put this chip in a mini box mod they would sell like hotcakes.

And bleed sales off of the MVP lineup.

MVP4? And make it replaceable battery (18650) with a magnetic catch door.

Someone asked about a cig a like product in the GF. Can't find any info. Made me think of vaping like computers. Average setup is like Windows, gotta know enough to keep it going. Rebuildables and mechs are like linux, gotta know more than you ever wanted to. Gas station and Walmart stuff is like Apple, you don't need to know, just keep spending money.

:thumb::headbang::thumb:

GREAT analogy!

I don't think there is any question that analogs have quite a few other things in there that make you freak the hell out if you can't find one when you need one. I also forget my vape stuff sometimes and i don't even realize it because that strong urge to vape never comes.

Analogs are clearly much more addictive imo, i have little doubt big tobacco puts other very addictive stuff in there that make us crave the dang things.
Big T put things in cigs that made nicotine (and god knows what else) more biologically available, but AFAIK these chemicals/compounds were not by themselves addictive, per se. Even the change from "treated" cigs to cigs made w/o any additives made a difference to me as far as cravings went.

But I wholeheartedly agree that vaping, or the lack of vaping, does not cause the urge to imbibe anywhere near as much as cigarettes did. I cannot help but to think that's a good thing.

I got one in my cart now. Only 20 w and not what I was gonna buy next, but it's such a good deal. I don't even have batteries or a charger so it may just go in a drawer for a while. Cotay does it take flat top or button top batteries?

I'm using flat top batteries with mine...no issues with them at all. Honestly, the 20W limit isn't much of a big deal for me...I rarely vape over 18w even with my Subtank and .5 ohm coils. I have more powerful devices (rDNA40, SXMini) and I get a lot of use out of the SVD2 with my clearos.

I hesitated for the longest time over this thing...I didn't really need it, but the value ended up being too much to pass up. I'm very happy with it and think the build quality is exceptional, especially compared to the competition in the under $40 price range.

What batteries and charger are you using?

Thanks

Getting acquainted. I am more than a little surprised. I shied away from this device due to unusual contour of the base 18650 tube. I was wrong. It is quite ergonomic. The fit in the hand is better than the first SVD. The construction is superb. What we have come to expect from Innokin. The nearly flush buttons are different. Not a bad idea or feel but takes some getting use to. I really like the interchangeable top connections. If you strip one out just replace it. Good thinking on this one. I am a low wattage vapor and it performs well in the 7-10 watt range. I am somewhat puzzled by the battery meter built into the case. This is a great idea for a mechanical mod but since since there is a battery symbol on the screen I see no use for it. By the way I did find parts available if interested. All in all a very nice APV at the new lower prices.

Honestly the only thing I don't like are the buttons. Wish they had a ring like the old ones so it would be easier to find without looking at it. I'm thinking about hitting it with an engraver so I'll be able to feel for it easier.

The curve on the bottom tends to move my hand down so the adjustment buttons are closer causing to find them before the fire button. Just takes some getting use to I guess.

I don't need another device even if it is a DNA chip for $34.90

Sigh.

If the FDA does require approval for devices having more than a couple may not be a bad thing. :D

Heh... I'm just sitting here WISHING I had the funds to get a black one. That would look excellent under my gold kayfun. :D Wonder how long they'll be that cheap. I waited when they had the Galileo DIRT cheap, and later when I got the money, they no longer had it, and I had to pay $35 for it at MadVapes.

Okay, not sure if this is the correct thread to put this in...so if it's not, my apologies and i'm sure the Mod's will move it. But here goes.....

I've only been vaping a few months and my first mod was an Innokin iTaste MVP 2.0 shine edition. I've been using the nautilus mini on it, mainly cause the cheaper tanks just doesn't give me a satisfying vape. However, last night i went to screw my nautilus onto my MVP and it won't even screw on. So i worked for about two hours trying to figure out if it just needed a good cleaning and nada...still wouldn't thread. So i put my mini tank on pen style mod and it worked, so i realized it was the threads on the MVP that must be stripped...(NOTE: even though they look fine and i never have over tightened my tank on it).

So today i took it to my local B&M store and sad to say, the guy that waited on me wasn't much help nor did he have a solution....other than attempting to sell me another MVP *smh*

However, when i googled this issue...i ran acrossed a link that sells an adapter that may help my issue. Here's the link and i just need to know if this would work before ordering it? I'm still wondering if the center pin could of popped up a bit, which keeps me from screwing my tank on...but i can't tell because i never really paid that much attention to how far down the center pin originally should be.

EGO to EGO 510 Atomizer Adapter : L Js E-Smokes, Electronic Cigarettes

Are these the same adapters? I'm thinking they are, i just need to know if they will work and if either of them will work, i will order from the vendor with the cheapest shipping.

Anyone else have this problem so soon after purchasing the MVP? Like i said, i've only had it 2 months and i've been very careful not to tighten down my tank.

Yes, those will go on the MVP, and can be used to "fix" stripped 510 threads on it (and any other device with ego threading.)

Will it fix your problem? Can't say, as I'm not quite sure what's going on with yours. If the center pin has lifted, probably not, as the adapter won't be able to screw down either. (The "usual" problem is the pin getting pushed in too far to make contact.)

Any chance you can post a pic looking down into it?

The 510 threading was a problem with the MVP 2.0. Yes both those adapters are the same and will fix the problem.

Here is a third vendor:

If you have owned the MVP2.0 less then 90 days it is still under warrantee, contact where you got it from for the replacement.

David, thanks and i will try to get a good pic of it and post it on here. But yeah, i just tried an Aspire ET-S that has an ego threading and it worked, so the center pin must be okay or it wouldn't of fired....i just can't use my Nautilus mini or any other 510 threading. That is until i get one of these adapters.

VapieDan, thank you for that third vendor link...will definitely check it out. I just can't believe that it's only been two months, so i'm thinking it had to be somewhat defective when i bought it.

Caroloto, well i did take it to the B&M today in hopes they would have an adapter or at least help me out in some way.....nope, they just said it was past their 30 day warranty and wanted to sell me another MVP! *disgruntled look* From here on out, i plan on finding my supplies and future mods at a reliable vendor online or look for another B&M here in my town. They even said that this adapter (was telling them about it) probably wouldn't work due to not having enough contact with the center pin on my MVP.....lol They really must have wanted to sell me a new mod....but they won't be getting my business anytime soon.

Innokin gives a 90 day warranty, but by the time i paid for shipping to California (i live in kentucky)...i could probably buy a new one. Plus, they would probably say it was the "users" fault....so i figured it would be best to just find an adapter since this was my main vape mod until i can afford to get an eleaf istick.

Thanks everyone for your help!!!! :)

Wow, this new SVD 2.0 is really well built , very surprised actually . The thing i can't figure out is how to turn it off , click the power button three times quickly and it just says locked .

Doesn't seem to turn completely off , i like it except the screen placement , should of been closer to the buttons so you can actually see it , don't get that one.
