The ones that i use now are high drain and 30a.is it okay to go down to 20a? I have the Sony v4 18650s

Sent via Tapayappin

There are 2 ratings on the batteries. Constant drain and pulse. Many rewraps state just an amp rating. They do not specify pulse or constant. The highest you can get in 18650 is 20amp constant and 30amp pulse. The LG hg2 are safe. What brand of battery are you using now?

I like that the CF4+ has 3300 mAh; I can get a full day and then some out of the 2000mAh version, so I could get 2 days out of the 3300mAh version. I never vape over 10w anyway, and don't like TC, so any other "features" are kinda irrelevant to me. But I *am* curious about what price-point they start that one at.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Any day now, any day....

I don't, normally, vape over 30 watts and usually at 25 or less, so 70 watts is kind of meaningless to me. My point is that it's just a re-hash, albeit with a bigger battery, and not anything actually new. If you're a MTL vaper it's a fine thing, I guess, but an FLH vaper just isn't going to be very excited and there are a lot of FLH's out there.

Again, a day late and a dollar short. 70 watts has been around for a while and still no temperature control of any type. Why can't they get their "ship" together? Really disappointing.

While I agree that they are late to the party, my Innokin products are my favorites by far because of their quality.
They are built like a tank and work very very well, compared to some other products that I have bought and wasted money on.

I can't imagine owning a vape business these days. Items are obsolete in weeks or maybe days. The whole industry could collapse when "everybody that wants one, has one" and fewer new vapers want something past a cig a like.

Dare I say the phrase "Golden Age"? Technology seems to advance with vaping almost weekly. Once we hit TC saturation, and I mean excellent or maybe even perfect TC tech, it will all be over. Then it will only be about who can cram the highest mah batteries into the smallest space, which is also a current trend driving vaping. I got into vaping in may and looking back I was able to advance very fast from a cig a like to sub-ohm tanks with 4500 mah box mods.

TC will have to be DAMN perfect before I'll be interested in trying it again; with my gunky ejuice and titanium costing more than twice what kanthal does and not being dry-burnable, I have zero, or maybe NEGATIVE interest in it. Kanthal works great; if it ain't broke, I ain't interested in fixing it. I also have negative interest in sub-ohm anything, or any tanks of any kind, but 4500mAh would be excellent; at 9w, that should last half a week or more.

And we haven't even talked about the FDA, that approved GMO salmon, taking away everything to protect us...

The petition to "Urge the FDA to re-work the deeming regs so that life-saving vapor products can remain on the market!" passed 100,000 signatures so maybe that will help.

The upcoming Innokin TC is supposed to work with Kanthal, so you might regain a little interest if that's true. My MVP 60W Pro is 4500mah but is heavier than the CFIV. The new CFIV Plus is 3300 mah so it's getting better as far size to capacity.

Truthfully, making a 1.7 ohm coil and running it at 9-ish watts is all the temp control I really need. Fixing what isn't broke is such a waste of time, effort, and money.

I'm very interested in that new CF4+, mainly for the 3300 mAh, but I wonder how it will compare to the CF4 on weight. I thought the CF4 was heavy.. till I held an Evic-VT brick. :D I haven't been terribly interested in the MVPs, because until recently they had the button on the wide face rather than the side, which seems completely anti-ergonomic to me. But even with the newer versions with the button on the side, they're still a little too boxy for my taste. One of the main things I love about the CF4 is the hand-feel, the rounded back side fits my hand perfectly. It's hard to tell in the only pic I've seen of the CF4+, but it doesn't look like that back side is rounded, but is flat, and I'm not sure if I would like that as much. I might tolerate it for the increased battery life, if it's not too heavy.

Sometimes I just have to ask myself what the heck innokin is thinking? The main selling point of the IV was the body style. Small and sleek with excellent ergonomics. That tube mod comfort in a box. Also, some very attractive colors. So what do they do to "improve" it? If you want more Mah then you would buy the MVP not some steroid-ed out version of what was a nice little rig.:glare: They are offering us what they already offer.

It's the VV3 thing all over again. The VV3 was one of the greatest little sticks out there and they sold astronomical numbers of them. Then they "improved" it with the VV4. When is the last time you heard some one say anything good about a VV4? The only time you even hear the letters VV any more is when some one finds a stash of old VV3's being offered somewhere.

I just hope they are going to discontinue the IV like they did the VV3. Then I can pick up a couple cheap on close out for the future and be done with buying removable battery mods.
