Innokin SVD short circuit question

just wondering what the SVD shows on the LCD when atty has short circuit?? i just trying to rebuild heads for protank for first time and ive build 2 different heads and both times showing 0.8 ohms so wont fire. im using 30ga kanthal, first one i used 2mm silica with 5/4 wraps and second 3mm silica with 6/5 wraps. both showed up as 0.8 ohms. 0.8 ohms mean short or is there different display when short circuit?

I'm not too sure the SVD will fire at that low of a resistance. 0.8 ohms is a good reading I believe 0 would be a short. Also try to rebuild for a higher ohm setting over 1.2 ohms

yeah neither would fire button is red and shows 0.8A when try to fire. yeah your right reading is right i fiddle with it with a tooth pick and itll show as low as 0.4 musta just wrapped it too tight
