Anyone get an insomniac effect from vaping? Past week or so I been going to bed a few hours past my usual, already late, 3-4am bed time... I usually vape in my last hours of the night so i'm wondering if that's the cause?

I know nicotine somewhat keeps you awake so maybe i'm answering my own question. Just wondering if anyone has been in the same boat. I would search but I really need to get bed (laying in bed right now) as I have to wake up in 3 hours and the ECF Droid app doesn't have a search function.

I started vaping about 3 months ago at 24mg and had no problems sleeping initially. In the past month my sleeping habbits have changed and I was finding myself still up at 2-3am, only getting 3-4 hours of sleep a night. I recently switched to 16mg and am feeling much better, although I still am up later than before I started vaping. I've only been at 16mg for 2 weeks and am already considering going lower in nic, especially in the evening.

Maybe I should get some low or zero nic to vape before bedtime. I get ~3 hrs at night & ~2 hrs in the afternoon during the week. But on the weekends I'll get 6 or 7 at night (hooray for sleeping in!), and don't usually take an afternoon nap.

God I hate getting older... until I hit ~40 I was good w/ just 3-4 hrs a night.

I seem to just want to stay up and vape. Nothing to do with the actual stuff im vaping, im just having fun lol. Seriously though if you just quit smoking its really more because of that. It can also be your nic level, it may be too high. All these are variables, once adjusted correctly - you will go back to a normal rhythm.
