I wish I could afford that. Lol

I spend a lot more time around Red Rock than down there. Saw Scrap Metal and Whitesnake at the pool weekend before last. Had a 80’s hair metal blast. There are some advantages to LV.

I was at the casino not the park [emoji23]
But I love Ice Box. Really fun hike with a little H2O at the top.
I’m in Centennial off Sky Canyon so I spend a good amount of time at Kyle and Lee Canyons as well as Cold Creek. If you haven’t tried the campgrounds on Lee, by the ski resort, since they refurbished them, you should. They’re really nice, and it’s an easy overnight getaway. Especially with all the fires around Duck Creek and Panquitch.

Lol gotcha. Red Rock is really nice I take my son bowling there sometimes. Usually Suncoast tho. I was just up in Utah a couple weeks ago. The burn wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I didn't go too far off the highways though. I will check out the campgrounds up by Lee. Saw them working on it, glad they are finally done. We used to go to the little area right by the junction of 156 and 158. Google maps has it listed as Champion Road.

If you check out the campgrounds and have your son, the ski resort has a summer disc golf course that’s fun and inexpensive. You can rent the discs in the shop inside. If your lucky, there will be some wild horses out there this time of year.

We've seen the horses a few times up there.

We went on the lifts last Summer. I did see the dusc golf course and it looks pretty intense. I didn't know you can rent the discs. Next time.
I lived in BC for a couple years. This was in my old neighborhood.

Whenever I went to Chincoteague island, there'd be wild horses, you'd have to eye them all the time. One time a bunch of them came up and destroyed all the food we had with us, they're worse than bears. LOL, they are not WORSE than the mosquitos and/or sandflies there, either.

I don't understand why anyone goes there, either. I mean, I don't like taking 50 Benadryl a day etc. It's a giant swamp. I am shocked there weren't alligators but probably the wild horses ate them is what happened.

1979. Vegas in the 80s and 90s was awesome. The Northern cities are nice. I have thought about moving there.
I went a lot from 1988 to about 1995. The changes started somewhere in that time and by the time I got married there in 1993 (at the Excalibur) it was changing a lot and I was losing interest. Too commercial. Downtown was still fun. I have not been since maybe 2008 (stayed at Hard Rock) I liked it in the day when you could take a cab from casino to casino and get there in less than 5 minutes. Now traffic on the strip is worse than the 405 freeway in LA
