Intellicig EVO Battery Acting Up (4 blinks?)

A few minutes ago, I took my EVO out of the case and assembled it, drew on it and... nothing.

Shook it, cursed at it, blew on it, and then the LED tip was coming on AND STAYING ON for about 8 secs! It would go off when I removed the batt from the atomizer.

Decided my contacts must be dirty, so I cleaned those off and... success!

Or so I thought.

Two puffs in and the batt blinks at me 4 times. Puzzled, I hit it again. No problem. Hit it two or three more times and I get 4 blinks. Etc, etc, etc.

It doesn't cut off or anything. It's just blinking at me 4 times after every few puffs.

I'd decide the battery was about to die on me, except it charged for hours and hours last night.

So I'm stumped!

You're not alone with battery staying on. mine (M401) did it while driving two days ago & poped my atty. luckily, it is under warranty (dietSMOKERS . I feel the next vapor kit i get WILL BE a DURA C or whatever has a contol botton. good luck.

Pants! I'm really in love with the thing. I am glad I do try to keep and eye on the tip b/c my backup attys haven't been delivered yet and I would have DIED!

Anyone on the 4 blinks?

New development.

Now it lights up for about 5 seconds, but isn't heating the atty at all.

I'm guessing it is dead, which blows, since it is only about 1.5 weeks old.

Well, this is more or less talking to myself at this point, but after a few days of "rest" the glorious little thing has decided to start working again. Yay!

I had alot of trouble with Evo batteries. Various. Too bad, loved it but have given up on Evo and my favorites now are the Janty Dura-c, Joye 510, EM901.

That's what I suspect.

More to the point, I'm pretty sure it's my own darn fault for dripping. I'm going to try dipping from now on!
