Here are the detailed questions and results. These really show the specific Tobacco Control propaganda that needs to be fought, e.g. "You can become addicted to e-smoking." Also a mysterious one, where 4% of e-smokers claim to have never used e-cigarettes, which maybe someone can explain. Maybe those 4% only use flavors with no nicotine?

Would mean that 1 smoker in 2 has tried and possibly continued to use to some extent ecigs. Why would that be hard to believe? (think cigalikes, not cloud chasing stuff only).

From the article, "About 10 percent of U.S. adults now vape..." I would interpret that as not merely 'tried,' but as 'continue to use to some extent.' 10 percent of U.S. adults would be around 30 million people. As far as veracity, there perhaps is not enough information to fully understand. If true, that makes for a petty good support constituency if most of the cigalike users are not buying into the negative information going around.

I have not yet reviewed the questions and results.

From that link:

Q12. Have you tried any flavored vapors? (Select all that apply) (Asked of those who currently use e-cigarettes or a vapor device in Q7/8, n=465)

Yes 84%
No 16%

Does that mean that 16% of vapers have only tried unflavored, or that some vapers don't realize that "tobacco flavors" are achieved by adding flavoring, or ???

Cig-a-likes vs: vaping - you're right. Many folks simply don't know the real difference between the two. While these are worlds apart, most anyone not into it just kind of lumps it all together. While both achieve the same end (vapor)it's kind of like armatures vs: professionals. Since so much of this is still 'new' and ever evolving, I think (hope) that once more mainstream that the general public will get to know the difference. And I feel that better education might be the ticket - and maybe dispel some of the B.S. / labels that vaping has had thrown at it. And if we could EVER see any true, unbiased research, that would help, free of special interests.
