Been vaping for a few weeks and had great feedback and guidance from many ECF forum members. I locked my device down to the E Power 14650 1050mA.

This E Power worked like a champ using 18% nic great vapor and throat hit for me. Problem is I still go out to vap don't want to do it inside with the kids even though it is safe. Well it worked fine for a few times in the cold but then stopped working. I got a flashing light (It was a wight light not the blue light). Swapped batteries and the same thing happened instently. Checked voltage off both batteries and they were at 4.12 VDC. Should be working. Returned the following day to the local store where I purchased it and they felt the switch was defective and replaced it for me. That night the same thing happened again I even took iPhone video to show the store. Once again returned with the product and they swapped out batteries and sent e on my way. Guess what yet again it happened. Went back to the store and the stuck it in the freezer for about 15 minutes and it did it to them.

The store was great and offered me a complete new setup although I chose to change my brand to an e-Go-T and have not had the problem since.

So not sure if it was just a defective bunch or if the E Power has problems in the cold. I haven't seen any other post with the E Power having problems in the cold. I did find a few post concerning a button issue though. So if you are planning on being outside in the cold with the E Power you might have a problem. ;)

The new white LED switch has been giving some people problems when using it in the cold. What ohm was the atty/carto you were using? The white LED switch has not worked for alot of people with cartos below 2.0ohm. Mine has worked with no problems with below 2.0ohm and in the cold, but Im one of only a few. Smoktech is fixing the problem though and an LR white LED switch will be available soon. The older blue LED switch works flawlessly in the cold and also with attys/cartos below 2.0ohm. Even though my white LED switch works now, Ive been keeping a blue LED switch close just in case it stops working. I cant complain though bc my E-Power has worked flawlessly for months and Im still using all my original parts.
Personally I def wouldnt have gone to an eGo-T if you didnt like the E-Power, but if it works for you thats great. I think going to a similar 3.7V PV like a kGo or a Riva would have been better than taking a step down to a 3.3-3.4V eGo, but thats just me. Also I would have gotten a regular eGo and not the eGo-T. Frankly I think the tanks suck and are a huge pain. They dull TH and flavor, as well as leak and can be very finicky. Personally Id ditch the tanks and get some cartomizers, but thats up to you. Hope everything works out for ya and you enjoy your new kit!

I go outside at work to vape on my e-powers(I have two) and I never have a problem vaping them in the cold, must have been a bad battery, I would never go back to the e-goT, they are the worst devices e-go ever made. The batteries are fine but not the cartrdige on them. On the other hand I love my E-power, haven't even had a problem with the switches!

I was using what the store cals a LR carto so I'm assuming 2.0 ohms. As far as the e-Go-T I miss spoke (typed) it is not the tank version. When I bought the E Power I also bought a spare just in case and the spare was the e-Go-T battery.

As far as the e-Go goes I am he type of individual that likes to see and touch what I'm purchasing. As time goes on I might get a bigger vaping e cig but this is working. I have been smoke free for 2 weeks now. So it has craved the appetite. I'm an electronic guy by trade so I will probably design my own. I have already made my own tank for 3 dollars. Better than the 20$ the store is asking for.

There are known problems with many of the E-Power 14650s that came equipped with the white LED switch. Hoosier stopped selling them and now sells the E-Power with the excellent blue LED switch module.

I've used four of the white LED switch modules from three different vendors on my E-Power 14650s. None worked properly. The temperature issue is just one of the problems with the white LED switch.

My E-Power 14650s with the blue LED switch work flawlessly.

Here is a running thread on this issue with current developments.
