Sorry if I'm jacking your thread here, hopefully this isn't too far off topic.

Is LorAnn that good or does everyone use it because of it's convenience? I suppose there aren't many high quality vapor-safe flavorings within driving distance, but surely there are high quality alternatives online.

LorAnn is one of the top and longtime flavorings around. Everybody has a preference though, so if you're into DIY, check out different companies to get your own feel. I'm looking into a seemingly forgotten about company right now - Bickford Flavors. I've heard a lot of good about them, maybe they're just not in vogue right now.

I checked my local Super WalMart today for the Loranne flavorings -- no luck. Tried the pharmacy section and the cake decorating section in the grocery part. I also looked around in the areas where all the scented oils and oil warmers, etc. are. I looked in Michael's crafts the other day, but they only carry the Wilton flavorings and those have vegetable oil in them so they wouldn't be any good. I haven't tried a cake decorating shop yet -- honestly I didn't even know there was such a thing.

also... our local Michaels art supply doesn't carry them either... no idea why. I looked for a local bakers supply but nothing doing there either. There is a Hobby Lobby near my parents house so I will check that out when I get a chance.

Hobby Lobby carries them near their candy making supplies. At least, all the ones that I have been to do, and I spend quite a bit of time in Hobby Lobby, lol.

I ONLY shop on-line - and yes, LorAnn is a very good food-grade brand, hence it's popularity. However, I happened upon perfumersapprentice.com a while back, and love it. If you read their info pages, they've gotten into flavours specifically for vaping, so all is carefull controlled (food-grade), and they have tiny little bottles for cheap so you can try combinations without too much investment. They also have little dropper bottles for your mixing use. My biggest thrill was when they came out with Black Sesame Seed - it's what makes RY #4 and FCTobacco have good throat hit, even at low nicotine levels.
