I am new to this "vaping" deal and i have to admit...so far so good. I was going to try out the another brand e-cig (saw it in a cigar magazine) but after doing research (mainly here) i found many options and it was a bit overwhelming, but i think i made a good choice with V4L (mainly due to customer service (sales rep/shipping time)....and i read that Smilin throws in a freebie and my first order was no exception).
i started off with marlboro reds, then went to their menthol.... lights...switch to parliament lights and have been smoking them now for the past two years....I have smoked now for 8 years and have tried to quit for the 7
, its crazy (i know its not as long as others but for me its been long enough! Nothing really worked for me, i would always find an excuse to buy another pack and analog again.
Well, my first reaction towards 'vaping' was mixed. i couldn't wait to get my order in and once it was here and charged up...i started 'vaping' did not know what to think of it, i was not sure if it would help me quit smoking analogs, i was kind of fed up with the extent i had to go to quit, i mean "Damn, i'll just quit, cold turkey." well that did not last, bcuz in a few hours i was smoking analogs again...so i sat back and thought about this whole 'vaping' thing again....i just spent some cash on this and now im just going to throw it away and not give it another chance? (even when i first started to smoke, i had to smoke a few analogs before i could even inhale properly) so i got this iphone app to help me...i would 'vape' when it did not allow me to analog and i would analog when it was OK (silly i know, i could have done it without the app but it was cool to see how many analogs i was passing up) that was the turning point...i am smoking analogs a lot less now and i feel 'better'...had all the symptoms that came from quitting (although i did not quit entirely) like acne, increase sex drive, a coating on my throat, clear nasal passage and best of all my lungs felt better. I have to say just a cut back on analogs was showing results.
i hope to stop analogs entirely and just 'vape'. the positives from the e-cig to me did outweigh the negatives (compared to smoking analogs) i know about the lack of research but inhaling smoke from analogs by itself if enough to quit smoking analogs....i am 'vaping' for the nicotine, hopefully , that all im getting....
well that my intro....this place is like a Focus Group, we are all dealing with the same thing and its nice to have someone to go to with questions and insight....NICE TO MEET YA'LL....
BTW....i was reading about possible confusion with the V4L's PCC and i just wanted to give my insight to the possible problem with the short-battery charging light...when i first screwed mine in....it was red all the time (bottom light) and after about 1 hour it was go off and come back on (it would go out for 10-15 seconds and come back on and stay on for maybe twice as long)...well i kept my battery screwed in and after maybe another hour (did not pay too much attention to it) it would blink repeatedly....i had to make sure it was screwed in pretty tight and that when i pushed the battery in that it was not setting off the manual battery...hope that helps...FYI...my kit was ordered within July (maybe that could give some insight to possible solutions to any problems)
