I fail to see how the mod I've used exclusively for 2 months is a paperweight.

I had a very long and detailed response to your response but realized it is not productive and sounds like an attack on Paul. I don't see an attack as beneficial so I will sum it up as I am happy you like your mod but until the modder holds up his end of the bargain, mine is a paperweight.

I wish him the best and there are no hard feelings.

Eventually, I'll probably just take it out to the shop and put an appropriate negative contact in and replace the 510.

Ok well since our guy has abandoned us..... Is anyone else of the opinion that we should start/open another thread to help each other to complete this mod.... Whether it be a new 510 or and push button negative connection to sourcing these parts (like the tiny peek screws) or whatever someone needs help with.

If *CLASSWIFE*is still around could you advise me/us on going forward (taking a tally of yays & nays)..... . and if there aren't that many responses I guess we'll have to caulk it up to a loss or sitting here listening to crickets... Lol .... I don't give up that easy and I won't give it up BobC who keeps telling us to give up. I'm sure there are members that have come up with their own fixes... HOPEFULLY they'll share and provide links in the new MYMOD ORPHANAGE thread lol .... I'm sure we all probably agree that this mod COULD BE a great vape if FINISHED !

What really bothers me is when a mod builder just up and disappears. Especially when they leave a project basically unfinished. I realize that some people just don't care about how they are perceived by others but I have more pride than that in what others think of me.

Because tbh, I'm pretty ...... off and don't want to be associated with Paul his non sense and this thread anymore..... I would like to start fresh with this shell of a mod...if anyone wants to drop a link and set up a new thread have at it..... I just didn't know the best way to do it, and if any of the modders would follow because we need technical support.

I don't get the need to move either - folks who want to talk about this mod are all here...
Me, honestly, I'd love to find a peek insulator. Hell, any insulator that fits and is stiff so it doesn't squish going in. I am convinced that my MyMod shorts because of the squishy insulator, and that's all that really needs fixing.

I mean, a battery spring would be nice - but not necessary...


I'm a mechanical spaz, but I might just get a couple Fasttech peek insulators, and go at one with a file or something...
