I just got my iatty today!!! My first one I had to sell due to no $$.

Couldn't wait to set it up and was movin to fast when I was widening the grooves on the ceramic piece and broke it. Have to wait a few more days now for replacements to come in :(.

Oh well I will be with you in a few days stownz. Just need to order some more nextel, silver wire and kanthal wire and I'll be set

I've got extras of all that, but I put those flavors in the mail for yah already this morning. DOH The nextel I bought 25 foot of, no way I'll ever use all that because when I change coils, I just torch the nextel back to white again. Still using the first piece I cut, lol.

I'm not using that expensive pure silver wire, I bought some "Silver coated" wire instead, super cheap.

Good thing about the Army tank is that they don't fall over with the Iatty on top like tube mods. If they fall over, and hit wrong they will snape the connector right off the bottom. Kinda like how a drip tip breaks when you drop a mod. Army tanks just sit there all steady like 8)

:pHey stownz, if you decide that the responsibility of bringing up 2 iatties and 1 bulli in this world is to much, I will gladly help you and take one off of your hands. Hell, you said you were looking at the Ato-Miser, I'll hook you up for one of your iattys!

Edit: Whats this nextel you speak of? A wick of some sort? Hows it working? You never gave me the 411 on how your different experiments with different wires and wicks has been.

Nextell xc-116 wick. Its super high temp stuff and wicks hardcore for heavy users like me. I'm using it now along with kanthal 32 wire. I'm aiming for the maximum surface area using the thick wire and currently testing its durability. I'm guessing the thicker wire will last longer also. I've run about 60 ml through this coil here and a Mega 6volt for 2 minute dry burn each night. I'm trying to kill it but it won't die, neither will the wick.seems to me the kanthal wire is just more heavy duty compared to nichrome at the same awg.I did kill a pair of 18350s though doin those long dry burns.... lol thank god for junk tube mechanical mods we don't care about :)

Think ima skip the ato-miser. Use the bullI as a drip/testing Atty for new juice recipes. Its easy to take apart, rince with water and dry burn and swap flavors. I'm going to master my Jagerbomb flavor one of these days! Gotta quit drink in all the jager though, have more to mix with!

Sounds awesome. You wouldn't happen to have any extra I could buy off of you?

also, on the metal version...a tiny little update.

im getting closer and closer everyday, its obviously taking me a lot longer than originally anticipated. i have a 3d printer locked in and a caster that im waiting for a few more details before i sink a bunch of money into this for the prototype. i know i have a bunch of people that have been asking me about the metal version, and i assure you its constantly being sussed out. thanks all for being patient, but i wanna do the best possible job on the enclosure, as much for you as me.

i know thats not much of an update, but i know i havent mentioned it in a while and just didnt want people to think it fell through the cracks or went up in vapor. im getting really excited for the next iteration of army tank.

at ease.

Any news on the metal VV Tank Mods? Another thread has seriously peaked my Interest in this item and after reading through this one and having seen one first hand I am seriously considering one of these. Id there any versions of tis that will take a protected high drain 18650 by chance?

Sincerely,
Nate aka Darth Vapor
