So I'm really interested in getting a. Vv tank, it will my next purchase since I have a Reo mini. What kind of timeline are you looking at for the metal case?

Also ant way I can get captains bars instead of SFC rank? I just commissioned in 09 from SFC, so it would almost be a demotion, lol I kid I kid.

Can we still order the V2?

I believe he is back ordered at the moment, and won't be taking orders till he gets caught up. He'll give you a better idea of what that timeline looks like then I can.

yes, thanks cren! no more orders at the moment...ill post an update here if i decide to start taking orders for VII again so please keep checking back. currently trying to catch up on a bunch of orders and at the same time trying to get the metal design compatible with e-machine shop. they're asking me to make a ton of changes for them to be able to even make a prototype. so many dang hurdles. anyway, there was some progress in designing this weekend so i hope im a little closer.

Greetings JMarkus :D Glad to see ya. I figured you were pretty busy lately filling orders. I just wanted to drop another note to tell ya that this little maniac is vaping like a dream :D

Congrats on making another step forward with the metal version, hopefully this one will be the one huh? Goodness knows that it will surely be worth the wait :D

there is a tube that goes from the connector to the bottle; right through the top of the cap to the bottom of bottle.
you squeeze the bottle and the juice goes up into the "lower" part of the atty... bottom of PV, to the bottom of the atty; that's why it's called a "bottom feeder".....
You have to learn how much juice to squeeze to get it right... pretty easy.
That picture of the innards just answered a question which has been nagging me: what is a bottom feeder? Thanks for posting it.

Is there a wick in the juice bottle, or is the juice pumped to the artty in some way?

Nevermind... I just saw this;

those (aw imr's) are the batteries i end up having in my tank most of the time and have had only great experiences. having said that, please do your research and only use safe/protected batteries. i feel like the aw imr's, since they aren't "protected," are something you should use at your own risk even tho they have "safe chemistry." here's a great starting point for research and it specifically talks about the aw imr's. please read the section "Current information is that AW IMR Li-Mn rechargeables are the safest batteries for use in mods".

the batteries i've used to test all the mods with are as follows:
ultrafire protected
trustfire protected
aw ic protected
aw imr

hope this sorta helps.

IMR aw are safe "chemistry" so they don't need protection...
they work great for LR when you need bursts of power to fire low resistance... but they do run out faster.
P14500 aw are the best bet imo since they are close in output to the imr and they last lots longer, and are safe too.
Just can't go wrong with aw's....

Can you over charge them? Worried with out the protected circuit I can no longer just leave them on a charger with out a worry. Do you set a timmer?

I don't take this stuff for granted....
I have Pila and another charger that has a thing that protects from over charging.
Otherwise, yes, you can't let them sit there charging without attending them. Once it's green you should take them off; a few minutes (not sure how long) over is not a problem i'm pretty sure.

I put mine (aw imr's) on the charger when I'm at home and know I'll be around awhile. I don't exactly babysit them but I don't just leave them on for extended periods of time.

Not to highjack the thread but just wanted to add.. I just got an empiremods drip shield (the delrin black plastic one) and LOVE it! No more leaking with my 901!

I ordered 2 delrin shields yesterday. Are they the same length as their metal ones?

From what I understand they are the exact same thing, just delrin plastic instead of the fancy cut metal ones. It looks great and it was half the price of the metal ones! I can tell it is keeping my 901 cooler and they (ppl at empiremods) say it will help with the atty life. I'm just loving that I no longer have to keep watch on the little hole and I can bottom feed (with my army tank) and not have to worry about juice spilling out of the hole. It was hard to drive in the dark with the 901 cause I couldn't see if I was overfilling. I love the draw also.

They're 6.99 and with shipping come to around $10. It's well WELL worth $10!

Okay, I must apologize for not getting this video done in as timely a manor as I would have liked. Let me say that my Littls SGT VV Army Tank is still kicking like a Mule. I have been getting blasted for the past two weeks getting things prepped for my Mothers shoulder surgery, that is now complete and although I am on Leave right now, unfortunately I have been getting my Phone blown up all week every time I stop to take a breath. I am going to get the video done this Saturday without fail and I will have it posted on Saturday as well. Once again, I apologize for the delay.

Sincerely;
Nate aka Darth Vapor
