i'm liking my Sgt II with a Joye SR 510 (2.3 Ohm) at low voltage.

I'm sure a higher resistance would be great too, but I'm liking the 510 more than:
- 901 which i started out with; it's taller and needs an adapter making it even taller; i think low profile is good so no accidental tweaking the connector.
- the i06 is a good atty but I like to drip on the Sgt at home to save the bottle for the road; and the i06 d/t gets stuck on the atty. I prefer sliding the d/t off the top for dripping and I don't like pulling the d/t off when it's on the Sgt. too much pressure on the connector.

I love the Sgt II and it's the only bottom feeder I like (because of regulated VV, and the price), but I baby the connector as it seems to be a weak link.

510 is a damn good atty imo.

btw; As far as low profile on the Sgt. goes, 306 would be good too.
Theecig.com is supposed to be coming out with an i06 Pyrex d/t very soon... In that case, I'll be putting one on the Sgt for sure, since Pyrex d/t's are a breeze for dripping.
I use pyrex d/t's for all my attys.

Totally agree about the the Joye 510 and it's good to hear that you like them. Really like the smooth draw that these atties produce. Gives a very nice TH and warmth. juice capacity is awesome too. Besides my Cisco 306 atties. I really don't like using much else.

As with the i06, you probably put the drip tip to far down the atomizer. It's kind of hard to explain but, with any other 306 atomizer. It should be put on the atomizer just enough for it to stay there or you feel some resistance. There's no chance it will leak since it has already created a good seal.

Now that you mention it.. I haven't seen stownz on here in a while.. he didn't leave us did he?

Good point, I havn't seen him much either. Cant' remember the last time I DID see him in fact.......

Yeah, true. Where is Stownz?

Haven't seen him online for a few months now and wondered what happened myself. Not sure if he left or not. Does seem odd that he's not been on here.

yup i just got a 10/pak from VKs... i started out on those, and have gone back to them.

the i06 d/t from Iken has the problem of getting stuck on the barrel easily, and because it doesn't drip well (narrow barrel) juice gets hung up and come back. The connector on the Sgt. gets wobbly on mine if i tweak it the least bit and i don;t want to take any more chances with it. J was good enough to help me out the first time.

well, i had a prototype that was supposed to be delivered last week. they kept on having issues going from 3d print to the resin sealant without warping the model. they finally called me yesterday and said they just can't seem to do it. back to square one finding a new company that can do what i need. so sucky.

where the hell is stownz? i hope he's ok...i've pm'd him a few times and got nothin.

Yeah, it's funny how we basically go around in a circle to get back to what we started with. Always trying to find something better when the best thing we've run into was in front of us the whole time. It's ironic, anyways I've noticed a lot of issues with the i06 atties I had.

I think it's a QC issue since, one of them had an extremely tight draw while the other one I used was manageable. Seems to act just like any other 306 out there while not hitting as hard at the same time. It's weird when I think about it. Totally understand about the situation your having with the connector. It's probably best that you take it off and work with it that way.

ok, so been a couple weeks since i had my tank, and its the only one i switch off my darwin for. for some reason i really like tobaccos on my bottom feeders, so it always has some bwb in it. so the 14500 trustfire flame jackets last a while, they are great, originally i used the hh357 and although they are awesome, i cant get the hang of it, fill it to much tons of liquid in your mouth, not enough dry burn... put that sucker on my darwin 3 drops and its good, now i got some ikv 2.5 510s to put on the vv tank, and they are awesome! easier to fill, great taste, cant get enough, so.. end reults, sgt vv tank with ikv 2.5ohm 510, vaping heaven!! sorry for a review thats all over the place! lol

Glad to hear that you found the setup you like. Heard a lot of mixed reviews about the 357 and personally, never saw the reason behind it's price tag. Also, been hearing it has a gurgling issue when used on a bottom feeder. So, I can totally understand why you put it on your Darwin for dripping. Finally tried the IKV 510's I got and they are performing great after I broke them in for a bit.

I'm lazy, I'm still using my 306's. I DID order like 10 from Health Cabin the other day. Just to give em a try. I figure I'll get them sometime in .....January? LOL I havn't run out of the ones I stocked up on in May???? From Cisco so.....

I would LOVE to take my Army Tank to work, but I'm afraid of breaking it. REO goes to work with me. Wish there was a VV that was tough and sturdy like the REO though to take out. Bottom Feeder of course.

It sucks uke, I feel an uncontrollable sorrow coursing through my veins :D just joking. Anyways, your SgtII really is in good company with your 2 Provari's.

I was thinking about getting one a few months ago. Still vaping my SgtII myself in rotation with my other bottom feeders. It'll be the only VV device I'll be vaping with for a very long time.

I'll let you guys in on a little secret... I ordered the Lavatube. When it came today I wrote "return to sender" and put it back in the mail. I'll tell you why. I didn't need it. My husband was in the housing industry and the recession hit us hard. Our daughter is in college and tuition is due. I don't mind spending money on something I need but right now "want" is put on the back burner. My Army Tank is in for repairs and an upgrade. It was my only vv device and when it was gone my 3.7 box mods and eGos just didn't do it for me. I ordered a the vv box from Madvapes to get me by and be a backup. I caught the Lavatube fever and placed an order. I realized a couple days ago that as long as I have my Army Tank and my Madvapes box, I have all I need.

I know you're bummed about not being able to get a metal version out but I was never all that interested in one. I love the one you build right now. The way you sand the plastic.. it gives it a nice rugged kind of finish. I don't know if you've put V2 on the back burner or still taking orders but you should keep making the one you make now.

just a little update on the above... my husband got the LT out of the mailbox and gave it to me for christmas! Isn't he sweet! I can't wait to get my new and improved Army Tank back! even though I now have other vv devices.. the Army tank will always be my first love and will still get lots and lots of use :D

A work of caution to the Army tank users... just because you can run LR attys and cartos at higher voltage doesn't mean you should. If nothing else I believe it will put a strain on the circuits, especially if you're using unprotected (aw imr) batts. From now on, I'm not going to use my AT for LR at anything above 4v. I'll save my higher voltage for HR stuff. LR is designed for use on lower voltage devices (3.7 box mods for example) to mimic HV vaping. With VV devices, you don't need to use LR. My problem is that I like the 1.7 smoktech cartos because they seem to wick better than boge and are easier to punch.. not to mention I have to punch 2 holes with the boge as opposed to just 1 with the smoktech. I can't find any smoktech cartos in higher resistance.

I do have some 3.0 boge on order but I'll still use the 1.7 smoktech on the AT but not over 3.7-4.0
