So after seeing the 32 gauge triple twisted coil, I got to thinking. Why not lightly twist only 2 strands of 32 gauge, then add the third strand of 32 gauge and twist.
I call it gnar wire because of how gnarly it looks.
It has a lot more surface area then the triple stand 32 but about the same properties. It seems to work very well.
I'll have pics up soon.

Exact steps for making this wire are as followed.
Step 1: cut three equal pieces of 32 gauge kanthel all around 10" long.
Step 2: put two strands in drill chuck and spin it but not really tight. Only spin it about a 1/4 of what you would normally.
Step 3: now we add the third strand of 32 gauge and spin it just the same as befor. Make sure you are pulling the drill and your pliers holding the other end of wire very taught or else it will kink, also dont over spin or the third strand of wire will make the finished wire wavy.
Step 4: cut off ends and wrap your coil of choice.
I made a micro coil using this and it worked great. Enjoy.

I was thinking of just using 2 strands of 32 AWG twisted together. If using more than just one wire to make a coil, it seems like it would really make too thick of a coil to be effective (long heating time).

Maybe a twisted coil made with something thinner like 2 strands of 36 AWG wire ?

If building micro coils with your wick running threw the coil the twisted wire allows the e liquid to wick the coil faster my gnar coil helps that even more from the third strand creating a pocket over the two strands its wrapped over. Basically your stranded coils work like mini wicks that are also heating elements. Its more efficient at displacing heat.
