Glass tank update. Bad news :( The OD of the top and bottom plates is 15.07mm with the O-ring it's 15.15mm. The only supplier that could do such a specific ID would have to retool his extruder. $$$$$$$$$$$$...$$$$$$$$$. and $$$$$$.

Sorry It's gonna have to be plastic.

I see above that the Ideal 12ml fits :) Off to Tractor Supply I go.

awww... worth the shot right? :)

Sorry Eric. I forgot about vendor thread etiquette.

that's quite all right, I only offer the wire and wick as a convenience, anyone serious should buy it elsewhere to save money.
In this particular instance you are free to post whatever you like for wick and coil.

I made sure not to 'fill' the hole up with wick - left a little space around the edges. Wicks like a monster! And, I can leave the fill screw in so no worries about juice sloshing out & around.

p.s. I'm not chain vaping, which would increase the wicking demand, so YMMV! :D

Finally did the DID with kanthal A 30 awg (100ft for under six bucks) 5 wraps. Still having some wicking issue.

I drilled out the wick hole to 7/64" Made a world of difference.

edit: After fiddling with this thing, It works like a champ. notes of caution: The threading is very loose on the center tube and the tiny ground screw. Don't tighten it down more than necessary to just hold the ground wire or it will strip. I found with the syringe tube it tightens up the main body very nicely and I have not had the shorting problems I was having with the metal tube in place. The top and bottom plates would move independent of each other and that would pull on the resistance wire via. the center post making the wick lean and short out when I screwed the device on my power supply (mod).

Yay clear griffin tanks!!!!:):):)

I just ordered some 500 mesh to see if it is really better;)

Be interested to hear about this. Ive only used 316 mesh and have 400 on the way. Riptrippers seems big on using 28AWG kanthal on their atty. wonder how it would fare on the griffin.
