Not a problem. We'll get it all sorted out this week. Had already given Eric a heads up that it was stuck out there for some reason. I've had trouble with our address from ups but not USPS. UPS likes to say we don't have a valid address. We're way out in the country so our address is written more like a GPS location with county roads and north south roads instead of an actual street address.

lol - wasn't your address system revamped when 911 was established nationwide? virginia did that years ago ...........

Me too. I have a lot of stuff that I've been 'patching' to keep running... now into the parts bin they've gone. :)

Im with ya on being done with the other stuff. Nothing compares and so carefree these are. Make a wick and it lasts . Have 7 wicks pre-made in a container. Been going thru my stuff and tossing a lot of old stuff thats been sitting .

Only bothersome thing with these is having to be careful to keep more or less upright with the fill hole open. When the new order comes in, I'm getting two more, and have been thinking of ways to lug all of them around with me in my XL eGo case. I posted the following below over in the rba forum. Thought I'd share my brainstorm with the DV crew.

OK, I've come up with what I think is a good solution for the 6 that I want to carry around with me.

DiscountVapor is getting in some replacement caps in soon. So since I can only vape one a a time lol, what I'm going to do is once I get a couple of spare caps is get six of his cheapy shorty delrin drip tips and plug them with silicone. On six of the caps, I'm going to seal the air-hole with a little piece of foil tape. This will make six leak proof tops, and I can just screw on a normal spare cap to the one or two that I'm either using, or have stored upright on my PV.

Good ideas. I use a carto-condom over the tip and a small rubber band over the intake hole.

Maybe I'm lucky, but I have had no wicking problems whatsoever with the fill hole closed. I get a tiny bit of liquid in the top chamber from
the wick, but it doesn't seem to leak out of the top section even if laid on it's side. Vaping a few hits dries the top chamber back up, so I assume it's wicking from the top chamber when that happens.

Take a piece of metal sand paper " fine one"and put some oil on it , take the top cap of the griffin and work it on top of the sand paper , do it a bit at a time till you get it to line up " doesn't take much so becareful " hope it will help someone

Been vaping on the griffin for a few days now. Works like a charm. I was already used to wrapping coils though so it came together pretty easy. But man that air hole is frickin HUGE. Very airy. Had to cover most of it with some tape. Might just plug it and drill my own.

Also got a wyvern atty to try. Works well. I think I prefer the Phoenix atty though. The air hole on the wyvern sat way to close to the coil for me. Was able to get another o ring on there so I could push it up and get more adjustment but there's not many threads to work with. The drip tip seems to be closer to the coil too so it hits a bit harder and warmer.

For anyone that is rolling without the fill plug to improve wicking. I have an easy solution for you. Take a syringe refill needle...

pull it apart....

insert the short end into the fill hole

Remove your drip tip then screw on the top. Put the drip tip back on. The needle appears to be the perfect length and the drip tip holds it in place.

I haven't needed this but it works really good. YMMV.

Enjoy!
