Is it possible for us to see it dismantled and maybe how deep the Carto adapter sits into the recessed top.

How about a pic of an all SS unit?

Is it possible to get the brass button and the SS adapter/top?

Yes, once i get some SS caps i'll do that.

I'll get you up a pic too with an adapter on it (all i have on hand at the moment is a 510 to 801, but's it's very similar to the 510 to 9101):)

David,
I asked to buy your prototype.
Did you see my email last week?
But, Mom comes first, always.

Good luck
I tried that on the original Mini and again on the Precise - No luck!
Even tried a bribe - still No Luck!
Tried to butter up David's Mom - No Luck!
Contracted James Bond to acquire it - Even he failed!

Now back to the waiting list.

David, I have 2 questions about the button. Does it recess enough when pushed to make it hard to accidently go off in a pocket? In other words, does the button go inside that outer cover when pushed?

Also, is the button throw adjustable, and if not, is the push hard, medium, or easy to push, say, compared to pushing the Six button with the smaller, lighter spring? (My Six is real easy to push with that spring.)

The button just engages below the protective horns, so yes, it helps to prevent misfires. The button is not adjustable as the precise is so "Precise" it didn't need it :) Push is what i would call medium. My mom really likes the push. I do have a softer spring for it, buy it may be a bit too soft.

only 1.5 hrs.? is this on the unprotected aw/soshine batts, or some other 10440's?

buGG

Protected 10440 grey trustfires available at deal extreme. I think that's actually pretty good considering the battery size and how heavy my mom vapes.

Thats about what I get from a 10440... 1 1/2 to 2 hours max.... I am a heavy vapor as well...

Kris

ok, my bad.. i see now that the unprotected 104440s don't fit, at least that's not what the device was designed for. but i've been using 2 of those unprotected 10440s heavily, on a mod with a resistor to bring them down to 5v (which should drain the battery even more right?) and i'm getting 3-3.5hrs. seriously. maybe it's a fluke batch, i've got about 10 of them, but i've only used 2 for the past 4 or 5 months.

even at 1-1.5hrs though, that super-t precise has got to be pure bliss! very nice looking pv you got there, david!

Thanks Bugg, i appreciate it! What brand of batteries are using?

David

it's weird, it's an aw in a soshine wrapper...

AW 10440 Unprotected Rechargeable Lithium Battery

other soshine's, like the cr123 have been very good to me too. and oh, david, i really like the way you designed the precise around a particular battery to keep it, well, precise. for your big battery mod, you might want to do the same thing around this beast:

AW 18650 Protected 2600 mAh Rechargeable Lithium Battery - New Version

i haven't gone back to using a tenergy or ultrafire 18650 ever since. very much looking forward to that mod...nah, everything you come up with actually.

I agree it would be sweet if David carried atomizers, batteries and chargers.... A one stop shop for everything but juice....

Having said that, I am sure there are reasons he does not carry these items... Think of the additional pain in the rump of dealing with DOA batteries and atomizers....

No to mention he'd probably need additional help in stocking and shipping.... It may not be feasible for him to take on such a task...

If you want PROTECTED 14500's for the S6 check out lighthound.com... They are in the US and ship fast! I have not found a good supplier of PROTECTED 10440 in the US so I got mine from DealExtreme....

Also, I don't think the PROTECTED CR2's will fit the S6... From what I have read you want to avoid the UNPROTECTED blue CR2's and get the UNPROTECTED green ones....

What if Super T could / would carry the recommended batteries for the individual units?

I have no idea where to find Protected CR2's or 10440's.
I get lost in all of the links and when I do find a place that has them; thye're out of stock :(

It'd be nice to do a little one stop shopping

Thats a good idea. I have been considering carrying some of those protected 10440's.

Raqball has a point and alot of it does come down to manpower (or lack thereof). I'm going to have some more help coming on here in March, which may help a bit:)
