Oh how I would love to buy at least 3 of these. We will be moving to Germany in about 6 months and I need to figure out what to do in tha battery charging department. The plugs are different there, so Im not sure what I should do...:(

You can buy adapters for foreign plugs to fit US pronged plugs. Google it!

Why did I not think of this? I usually google everything!

Some of the adapters can be quite bulky. I've been thinking that the best thing would be to buy a US powerboard to plug the chargers into, and  one US to overseas plug adapter  No need to buy multiple adapters. Just one.

So buy an american powerstrip and one US to overseas adapter...got it. Going to google that too

My only concern is that many of the adapters available are just plug adapters - they do not make any conversion of different voltages. Now we all know I just don't get all this electrical talk, but I get the impression that US voltage might be different from Australian (Yes I've tried googling but haven't found an answer) and so I worry that using a US power board might not be a good idea. Don't know at all about EU or UK stuff either.

Currently (ha ha pun) I use USB hubs for all my US (is that another pun?) products, so I don't have any correcting for different power supplies.

Perhaps an electrically-enabled person could shed some light on all this?

I'm so excited...was out to visit my dad last night and he has chargers plugged in every outlet available in the kitchen except for the coffee pot. I ordered him four and will get a power strip. Mom will actually be able to mash potatoes without having to unplug one of his chargers:) He will think it's the best thing since sliced bread....

Katz, I live abroad a lot and have been hesitant to try the strip approach. A standard USA strip isn't made to handle the higher voltage in Europe, especially if it has surge protection and such. There are special international versions available (e.g., Monster makes one), but the cost would be much greater than taking onesies. Be sure to Google the subject before deciding on the strip approach. Rick Steeves is one good resource for such questions.

You should be fine in Germany as they also use 2 pin. You might still need an adapter though as the US pins seem to be flat like the shaver plugs you get in hotels, at least my V4L charger was.
