If I understand right, you're referring to an x2, right? My blue auto has a blue led, which is not super bright but I can see it if I cup my hand around the end of the batt when I take a drag and I can see it while the batt charges.

You know the batt is charged when the light goes out, so you need to be able to see it for that. If you can't see the light while it's charging there must be something wrong with the batt. In which case you should email SI on their website or call them.

Yeah, im talking about the x2. The blue charging LED is super bright, but the purple LED that lights up when taking a drag is super dim. I can't see it at all if there is any light in the room at all, even if I cup my hand around the tip. The only way I knew it works at all is if I go into the bathroom with the lights out and look in the mirror. The purple led on the tip of my regular skinny volt lights up the whole room if it is dark. I'm very dissappointed in the x2. I don't know why they'd purposely make the LED dim, because it has a cap to cover it if you feel it's obnoxious. And like I said, the blue charging LED is very bright...

the charging lights are brighter then the auto LED lights it is just a limitation in the design... I could not say for sure if your is overly dim but you can always exchange it or return it for a refund if you like.

I doubt that there is a poster on this thread that NEEDS the colors... Unless hopeless yearning qualifies as NEED.

Lol.

I don't even need the batteries. I am actually buying 3 pro starter kits this weekend. One as a gift, and the other 2 just in case I come across someone who wants to get off analogs.

That's an excellent idea! I have extra batts just in case I meet someone who wants to vape instead of smoke... I should pick up some extra chargers to pass out.

Are you seriously saying you are "very disappointed" solely because the LED is a bit dim??? Did you have any other issues with it that I missed?
Mine has a red/orange LED and it is dim but still clearly visible. Maybe the purple is just harder to see since it is darker... I dunno.

It's too good of a sale to pass up. Plus, I have a lot of volt points and a nice gift certificate.

I don't even use my pcc anymore because I have so many batteries. I only use 1 1/2 78mm at work and then the x2 at home. I was thinking of giving that to my mother-in-law, but I know the second I do, I will go on a trip and need it

That's what I did with my old volts. I strictly use the X2 now. So I gave all my regular volt batts to friends and family. They've since ordered more cartos and X2's of their own.

I still have a few skinnies left to pass out. I should get some wall chargers to give with them, tho. I only use X2's or box mods.

I checked mine out, and you're right. The charging light is bright, and while vaping it's a fainter all-over blue glow. I hadn't noticd before because I always have the end cap on unless the batt is being charged. I have a silver x2 that has a red led. When I check it out with a mirror I can see it's pretty bright, but I can't see it at all when I vape.....unless I cup my hand over the end of it. Then I can see a red glow reflected on my hand.

Hi, Larry.

Autos do not have a light that comes on while vaping. The blue light under the end cap is on when charging, and turns off when charged.

The auto has one light that should come on while vaping, and another that comes on while charging, both at the end. I don't put the cap on. Mine are red-vaping and blue-charging. Yours doesn't do that?
