Haha, they should've called this thing "The Jolt." I tried using it plugged in today (with an old regular carto) and kept zapping myself all day long! Fun times!

you were getting shocks?

that should not be happening..
I was, but I think I might've screwed up that one port on my hub (time to use the lifetime warranty on the hub!). When you said that, I tried another one just now and it's A-OK!
...which is good, cuz you're not getting it back!

One way to get a head rush: get a battery with a crazy long cutoff time!
So easy to get carried away with this thing. I think I need a nap now.

Cindy The grounding on your house might have a problem, it might have to do with your wall plug too.

But if you looked like that monkey it would be hilarious anyway ... :D
Nope. Wiring's fine. I know because I wired this one myself, and that's one of the very few things I'm really good at. I think it might be the ground on just that one port though.

OK, Imagine. I'm awake again!
haha, I think I just really wanted to use that picture!

Have you tested your ground installation with a ground meter already??
It's either grounding or power supply, i have tested my ground on the house and it's fine, however my 2.5Amp power supply gives me small jolts when the battery lies on my body (don't ask). Because or the power supply.
If it's the outlet or the PSU, then all of the ports would be bad, not just that one port. But everything's OK now, so dropping it...goin' back to bed! Stupid X2. I overvaped myself silly today! Nite! :)

And that's when vaping's fun!!! Well except for the mild electrical shock thingie. Can I have permission to scoop that monkey picture, pls???

Sitting down, facing forward.
I got hit with 850 volts @ 2 amps, DC, with 80 watts of 440 megahertz of RF thrown in for good measure from arm to arm. I was in my basement, a little on the damp side as well. I flew about 15 feet and spent the next 15 minutes getting my breath and heart rate under control. I'!l skip the "shock games" but will be glad to administer CPR!
