Hey everyone,
I guess I'm new here but from the amount of time that I've spent creeping the forum I feel like I've been here much longer... buut this is my first post.
My experience with e cigs started with a trip back home to my parents house. My father and I were outside smoking in the garage when I noticed that he wasn't smoking a cigarette rather his new kr808d from v2cigs.com. (This particular brand is stated to operate at 4.2 volts and is slightly shorter in comparison to a competitive brand) I tried a couple of drags from his e cig and was hooked immediately. I ordered a starter kit with a pcc and 25 cartomizers as soon as I got back home to Columbus. Now... the wait. I absolutely could not wait to quit smoking. I have tried to quit so many times but failed (not even kidding) after 12 hours to one day. I enjoyed the act of smoking. I however, did not enjoy waking up in pain every morning at 22 years old. I have smoked a pack (or more) a day since I was 18 years old.
Everyone pretty much knows how it is when we get new equipment in the mail... It's like Christmas all over again which is why we all stalk the mail man.
The kr808d was enough to get me to put down cigarettes after 6 years but I found that no matter what brand of juice I used the flavors seemed too harsh or the flavor was lacking. (Probably from the higher voltage employed by the v2)
Enter the eGo. This is (in my opinion) the ultimate set up for a user like myself. I have the versatility to use 510 style atomizer/carts or cartomizers on top of the mega eGo set ups. I enjoy the eGo cartomizers very much but do not think that I will be using the mega atomizer for fear of burning through too much juice. I like to tinker but I like it when everything just works. So far my experience with the eGo has been nothing but satisfying. If I had started with the eGo right off the bat I doubt I would have ever used another type of battery.
I guess I will continue tinkering and who knows, after three weeks off of analogs I may find myself an active contributor to ECF.
Thanks everyone for all of your help ( you may not know it but the information on this forum has proven very helpful to my foray into eCigs)
