Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I starting vaping over 2 weeks ago, I immediately found this forum and starting reading all I can and it gives me inspiration as I'm a cigarette smoker who didn't want to quit. 2 PAD 25-30 years? I love cigarettes. Anyway, since vaping day one, I smoke between 2- 4 cigs a day now and really got into the smelling cleaner part. When I do smoke, I'm not super craving it and when I smoke it neither tastes good or bad. It doesn't taste like much at all. But I'm also still hunting for a good juice and found I dislike sweet flavors and love Tribeca or ry4 in a pinch as I have to order online from Halo. I can't say I'm in love with my new lifestyle but it has brought a lot of freedom back for me as far as getting my nic fix where ever and when ever I want ( I'm discreet with it when needed). I try to follow the main rule I read here and that's to count the ones I don't smoke. Most days I don't smoke 36 cigarettes. I'm really hoping this kicks in and I can give up the smokes 100ish percent but as of now I'm in-between worlds, but not so much in the analog world. Been an odd journey new as it is and curious to see how it all shakes out. Oh and if I go into a smoking bar now it hits me over the head and smells pretty bad. I try to remember that too to become smoke free.

Exactly the way to look at it: every cigarette NOT smoked is a little victory :) Just don't stress over whether you're smoking or vaping, enjoy the journey and the rest will come in its own time

Welcome to ECF!

I agree!! I have been totally free of cigarettes for a month now, my personal journey was $$$ orientated in Australia a carton of cigarettes was $120 and I realised that was only lasting me a week!!! I also agree with you about the overly sweet flavours a lot of juices have, they make feel even more thirsty or just simply overwhelmed when all I want is something tangy or something smokey like. I have to try not to sound like an infomercial but I would suggest Nicotickets Virus it has a light smokey flavor make from naturally extracted tobacco as well as a vanilla and coffee type taste, it is not sickly sweet. Another juice I would like to suggest from Nicoticket which you would think would be overly sweet is their Absolute Creme Brulee again it is more smokey with vanilla. If you want to avoid any sweet all together my other suggestion is a tangy fruit flavour. Good luck on your juice journey that has to be the hardest one as everyone has different tastes!! I am just hoping I can help a bit as sickly sweet is NOT what I hunted as a new vapour either!

Greetings fellow Yinzer. I picked up vaping May of last year and have been sticking with it. I have had a few relapses with the analogs but every time I am kicking myself because the flavor is terrible and the clouds are weak. Quitting wasn't easy but now i feel much better than when I was a smoker and food tastes the way it should again. I found my sweet and fruity flavored juices I vape all day but when I am feeling weak or had a few beers and want an analog i go for a good tobacco flavored juice to get me through
