I know beginning vapers who bought there set ups from B&M. They weren't treated as new vapers. They were sold equipment that was definitely for advanced vapers with no clue what to do with it later on when they weren't in the store.

Yea, there is a thread in the newbie forum about a guy, new to vaping, that went to his B&M for vape gear. He was sold a mech mod and they made him a .25ohm build with unknown batteries. He could not even build coils himself and didn't not seem to even have an ohm meter. Never could find out what those batteries were as they had no serials on them. Lucky we were able to talk him out of using it and into using regulated mods with good batteries.

B&Ms like this should be shut down.

The problem is that the "dummy factor" hasn't been accounted for in vaping equipment, particularly in regards to high wattage mods using replaceable batteries. No matter how many warnings you paste on the thing, some idiot is going to blow it up anyway, simply because it's possible.

And unfortunately, I think the possibility for those kind of errors is something we will see change in this equipment sooner then later.

Idiots ruin the fun for everyone.
Why do you think that they had to put on the label for Preparation H that it is not for Human consumption. Had to be that someone ate it wouldn't you think?

I agree, I have been in B&M's where they bend over backwards to put the customer into something that is suitable and I have been in others, where they have some cloud chasers working and they try to push customers into mechs and drippers. A new one opened just up the road from me and the woman that runs it knows absolutely nothing about any of the product, she doesn't even vape. The one I usually pop into, sometimes to pick up a coil or wire, mostly just to hang out and talk vaping, has a very knowledgeable staff and a section of vapes suitable for newbies. Too bad more are not like them.
