found LG HG2s the longest lasting 18650 batteries. They are 3000 mah and they last longer than 25Rs.

Scroll down to the hg2s and the graph, that's why I dunno about those.

That's about on par with what I am getting.Love the Samsungs for general, But since I got the HG2's they last alot longer on a charge for the D2 in temp mode. I been getting about 15% more run time than the 25r out of them.
The new one I picked up has a V3 firmware my other one is a V2, is there a list of changes anywhere?
Thanks Croak!Main change seems to simply be no more live resistance display. Which is a downgrade in my book, since I rely on it, but I understand why they did it.

You'll get custody of the puppy.
For those using the D2 with pre-built Ni coils in tanks like the Crown, Freemax, etc -- are you guys locking in the ohm resistance, or just leaving it unlocked? I know the lock feature can really help for coils you might build yourself, but also heard that for pre-built coils, the ohm lock resistance feature isn't really needed.
Have you noticed any differences in the vaping experience when locked vs unlocked?
at the proper room-temperature stage, feeble human!
Far too often do I see people mentioning "I heard this and I heard that" and use that phrase carelessly without realizing what they're actually repeating/saying - regardless if it's true or not. It's a phenomenon which often creates confusion for others who might interpret it as "gospel." What difference would it make if it was a prebuilt coil or not?...resistance is resistance, and noobs will be noobs - although we're all noobs in one way or another.... but also heard that for pre-built coils, the ohm lock resistance feature isn't really needed.
