Now that is sexy looking!

How does it feel, does the texture help from slipping from your hand?

Slightly, Though it I were going to go with a texture for slippage I'd probably get the carbon fiber. The grain is small so it does not add much with the brushed metal one.

For me it's not a problem though, My ipv Stays at my desk, and my istick I carry around lol.

Is that wrap from vaporskinz or Jwraps?

I just saw a gorgeous textured leather wrap at vaporskinz, that I think will be my next wrap for my new mini II!

They don't have a pic of it on the iPV mini, but I think this looks nice and grippy:

Jwraps, but they both use 3m vinyl so shouldnt be a difference.

Patriot is authentic. Kayfun isn't.
I started on a pretty good clone of the patriot and got the real deal next chance I could. Post spacing and wire capture is much better with authentic.

That's a pricy RDA, but I've heard good things about it and its USA made, or so they say!

I think I'll grab either a Wotofu Freakshow or the Cigreen Holmes for my next RDA, I like the idea of the airflow coming in from directly beneath the coils on both these. I'm trying to stay under $50 on my attys for now.

I paid over 50 for it but not much over. Actually, the wife got it for me and I am pretty sure she would have gotten a good deal. I have been leaning towards the troll and mako. I've been eyeballing a mephisto at a local shop also.

At any rate, I am done buying vape gear for a couple months. Gonna wait out the rush on the 350j mini. Probably pick one up out of the 2nd run. Unless evolv releases something that improves reliability. It amazes me that people will pay 200 dollars to beta test for these companies. They should test the .... out of their stuff on their own dime. If I had more confidence in those higher priced products I would have probably picked up a shark and sx mini.

Can't go wrong with the ipv mini v2 though. Works great. Don't have anything set uo to take over 30 watts right now though. And for 60 bucks I won't cry if it ....s the bed.

I hear you on the spending $ to beta! LOL! I loved my mini 1, but really prefer the vape from the mini 2 more! Im sure its the better chipset that accounts for the difference. I am running .5 ohm tanks (subtank mini and Atlantis) and haven't ventured under .5 using my RDA... yet! Which is why I stay at or near 30W with the occasional venture to 35. Especially since a .5 ohm coil is rated for 20-30W.

I think the mini II will do me for the next year and having the overhead and ability to go to 50-60W is just cream on top. But I see little need to go over that personally! Im currently using a Mutation X V3 RDA, its easy to build on but it's known more for cloud production than flavor. So my next RDA will be one with a good reputation for flavor and preferably under $50. I just cant see spending more on a small hunk of SS!

Get both of those! I have a Freakshow and 2 of the Holmes (v1), I really like both of the atty's. Both have great airflow, deep juice wells (especially on the holmes like 2ml) and really easy to build on. Holmes works great for single or dual coil builds as well, plus both are authentics for decent price.

Jeez, you guys are up late..postulating your future purchases, me too!!, In fact, I do most of my buying at night for some strange reason:D

I'd like the Holmes v1 but they are harder to find now the v2 is out. Also, like the freakshow and neither one is ridiculously expensive for an authentic as either Magma's or Vicious Ant atty's (love the form factor though). Anyways, I have a new Kayfun 4 and Origin v2 rda and that's it for me for a while..yeah right !

Yeaaa, vape mail just arrived as I finished posting- I'm sick sick sick, oh, and broke broke broke

Hahah well I mostly work 2nd shift hours and have no other responsibilities so late nights happen a lot. Yeah the v1 are probably few and far between now, I think the main thing they changed on the v2 is got rid of 2 of the airflow holes on the base, the v1 had 4 holes able to be open and on the v2 it has 2 now which is what has been keeping me from getting a v2 so far but maybe the reduced airflow will boost the flavor a bit (even though it was already really great).

Back on topic, You guys that have the ipv mini V1 have a different set of features as i understand it since it has a different chip-set. So. are we losing out in that department not having those features or were they just gimmicks or poor man's step-down?

I'm going nuts here waiting for mine to arrive by USPS. It won't get here till the 3rd March and it has been a month since it was shipped and paid for already! Living in 'paradox' is no joke:tumble:

Did you order from China???

I feel the V2 is a superior vape to the V1, probably due to the superior and more accurate chipset and plenty of overhead as I usually vape between 25 and 35W with a near .5 ohm coil!

Lets try and clear this up - ONCE MORE

There is NO IPV mini v1 or v2
The IPV Mini is a SX130 30 watt Mod
The IPV Mini II or Mini 2 SX330v2c is a 70 Watt Device

Both Devices are current production and independently designed for needs of different users.

The IPV Mini 30w is in need of a Rev.2 update to correct Resistance readings

Beyond that, both Mods are an excellent choice within their design Categories.

Mini 30w is perfect for Protank to Subtank users, Even clearo users can get a consistent Vape with a 510/ego adapter.
Mini2 70w is perfect for the Power handling Tanks and most moderate build RDA's.

Neither are designed for Competition Cloud Chasers which normally seek 100+ watts to accomplish their goals.
i.e. .10ohm builds kicking 175+ watts on a fresh Battery.

I've had my mini 2 for a couple days now and want to see if others are having the same experiences.

1. When I lock it pressing the up and down buttons to throw in a pocket, sometimes it completely turns off and I have to do a 5 press to turn it back on.

2. Having to do a 5 press to turn it on/off ,it takes way too long compared to other mods I have used.

3. After taking a vape the screen dims, but stays on instead of going off. Sometimes it stays on for a few seconds, sometimes it goes off immediately and sometimes it stays on indefinitely.

Other than those gipes it seems to be a solid mod. I'm just wondering if I shoould see about getting a replacement if others are not having the same issues.
