I'm not sure if I should get this or the sigelei v2 50w or the IPV Mini v2. I'm really stuck on this decision. I can't find any review videos on the Ipv 70 watt, and the videos I have found on the sigelei, the reviewers have said nothing but great things. Which one should I get? The way I see it the Ipv is more wattage for less money. And if it will out preform the sigelei then I'll go with it. But I love the look of the sigelei and I know it will be reliable. Help me!

I have both. If I had to pick... it would have to be the Sigelei. They both perform well but the Sig has better fit and finish.

You really won't go wrong with either one as they are both running SX330 chips. Pick the one that speaks to you!

According to it's description on vapeNW's website, the IPV mini does have pass through..

Specifications:

Yihi chip – Sx330 V2C
Reads resistance from 0.2Ω – 3.0Ω
Adjustable wattage: 5W-70W
Output voltage: 3.6V – 8.5V
Pass through mode is supported
Takes 1 x 18650 battery (not included)
Dimensions: L = 85mm x W = 52.5mm x D = 15mm
Auto ohm resistance meter finds ideal voltage for your atomizer
Voltage is calculated automatically as wattage is adjusted
Wattage regulated via two buttons, -/+
Mini USB interface charging port

Why waste time with Pass through?...............or internal charging?

I can see this on a toss away device with built-in battery, but these are designed for simplicity. Simply pop in another Battery and not be tethered. :D

When Vaping Pass through while charging, charge time is heavily increased due to power diversion to the atomizer.

Ummm..... Have to pass, still waiting on my battery to charge.:(

I'm going with the IPV. More wattage for less $$$$ sounds great to me.

Well I hope you get a IPV with a properly press fit 510 connection unlike mine that had a serious tank tilt. If you buy the silver one be prepared for a super slippery mod. I have a carbon fiber wrap coming that should make mine better looking and more grippy.

I ordered the black. I was just looking at some wraps and I'll probably end up getting a carbon fiber one as well. Mine's supposed to arrive Wednesday along with a Purple Efest 18650 20A/35A 2500mAh Battery. From what I've researched this battery will do just fine at sub ohm. Am I correct?

So what's the size of these compared to a Cana DNA 30? I've been looking at this mod for a while as a replacement daily carry and have my cana as a back up. Also does it have simple button configurations like the cana, like 5 clicks to lock, hold up+down to lock wattage? (Also been looking at the SMOK xpro but have heard mixed views on that)

I'll bite. This is the IPV mini v1 (same form factor as v2) next to a cloupor DNA 30 style.

The menu is a little different than the DNA 30 style devices, but once I got used to it I prefer it. It has 5 memory presets for wattage, cycle through them with up button, or adjust wattage with down button (then up or down for whatever wattage desired). 5 clicks turn it on/off (when you put the battery in it doesn't automatically turn on), unlike DNA 30 style mods that are just on all the time. On the mini v2 to lock it you can press up and down buttons.

I like the form factor better, more comfortable to me vs a Hana style box.

I recieved my mini 2 70w today along with a subtank mini, filled it with juice (4%nic), left the .5 coil in there, turned it down to 5 watts, reads 1.6 volts. Took a vape with air flow wide open, excellent vape. I guess the 30 watt would have been good enough for me, who knows , maybe get a 30 w also. I still have the plastic on the screen for now. It is also smaller than I thought it would be. I like it so far.

Nice! The size of the IPVMini/v2 is perfect for my hands. Fits wonderful. I'm still surprised at how heavy the friggin thing is (in a good way). Never expected it considering how light my IPV2 was.

I didn't remove the plastic on my screen either. And I'd have to take off my Jwrap to do it now so it's just gonna have to stay on. lol

That's not really how it works.. The mini v2 does not step down voltage.

You were actually around 25w or so depending on the battery level.

Okay here is my problem with IPV Mini 2:

I've been using mechs (sir lancelot and hammer) with 1.0 ohm kayfun lite without any problem, no burnt tasteno loss of flavor.

Now I received the mini 2 (looks good, not heavy like VTR, small and suitable for a stealth vape, easy to adjust wattage). I adjusted to 16.0 W. Couple of hits were fine. A little later it started to give hot burnt taste. Dropped it to 12W, huge loss of flavor. Now it's around 14W and still not getting the satisfaction like the mechs and can't taste my juice. I thought it will be okay since I don't go below 1.0 ohms.

What am I doing wrong here? Tried the kayfun back on mechs and no problem with a full charged battery. What should I do?

Great pic Rob!! I'm thinking of getting the same exact setup, Mini2 & Subtank Mini!! :D
I've had the IPV3 for a few months now and love it. But wish I waited for the Mini V2, the IPV3 is a little too big and clunky for me - and I don't need all that battery life and definitely don't need 150w.. Still have the sticker on my screen too lol, might get a black j-wrap for it and get a silver Mini2.

The IPV3 is great with my Atlantis or Billow Tank (and drippers), but I Think I'll like the Mini/Subtank (/Billow) even more!! Waiting for prices to drop
:p

Got mine yesterday, came with a couple of tiny scratches on the paint which was initially a little disappointing but I ordered a jwrap.Aside from that nothing huge. 510 connection is nice and straight.

Battery is a tight fit, not sure if anyone else has experienced this? I peaked in there and theres a little bump in the tube.not sure if I should return it. I have to kind of force it in a bit half way through and it looks like its scratching the battery a little bit, I'm worried it will eventually rub through the plastic.
