Yea, I could tell you used two wraps to give it the two tone design (which is badass btw). Have you gotten wraps from Vaporskinz? I want to know the quality of Jwraps vs. Vaporskinz. Jwraps has a bigger selection, but I heard Vaporskinz products are high quality while I really haven't heard much about Jwraps.
I have used both and i prefer jwraps myself very good quality and have had no issue taking from one mod and transferring to another, they also fit perfectly.

Thanks for the info. man. So you're saying you're able to take off the wrap and apply it again? That's pretty freaking awesome. I thought that once you applied it, you couldn't re-use it once it's taken off. Is this just for Jwraps or do Vaporskinz have the same ability?

Just got the iPV Mini 2, and I gotta say, I'm in freaking love. This thing is the bee's knees, the sultan of swat, the ..... I'm using a Kanger Subtank Nano (used it on an Aspire CF Sub Ohm) and man oh man, the difference. It's just too awesome.

Nice, so it sounds like if I don't like the look after a day or two after, I can switch it up. Thanks again man!!

I have Samsung 16580 2500mAh battery and am using the USB charger. How long does it take for a dead battery to charge completely? This is my first use of the battery so I let it go dead, and want to charge it completely. Anyone know the approximate time?

Just bumping this question, hoping someone can give me any info.

You may want to get a 2nd battery and external charger. Makes things much easier, plus technically p4y states not to charge and use the device.

Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

I do have a 2nd battery but my charger died out, so I'm using this while I wait for my new charger. I haven't seen where p4y says not to use the USB port to charge the battery (in fact in the manual it gives you instructions on how to). I think you may be thinking about the iPV3 (they actually removed the USB port), not the iPV Mini 2.

No, I was thinking of the mini 2 using the sx330 v2c board.

The manual that was included with my co-workers' mini 2 was for the regular ipv mini. Have they updated it?

He meant not to Charge and use Passthru
Even though most China manufacturers claim Passthru, they do not give functional specs. USB and 7+ amp draws are not friends. Those vaping at 7-11w may be okay on passthru.

Yep, except I won't use as a pass through. It's never a good thing for any mods that have pass through.

This is the only reason I mention it:

That is from a pioneer4you user manual for another one of their mods using a SX330 V2 series board.

They may put that in there for no reason, but I tend err on the side of caution when using cheap Chinese mods.

Yea, but the iPV Mini 2 carries a different chipset which allows for pass through, but I don't use it anyways because even though they say you can, it's not a good idea, puts too much stress on the battery and the chipset. Appreciate the info and pic though man!

IPV Mini30w SX130 Specs from Pioneer4you site:
No. Specs Minimum--Max Typical
1 output power 5--30watt
2 output voltage 3--8v
3 output current Max 13A
4 Atomizer resistance 0.5---3.0ohm 1.5ohm
5 input voltage 3.2--4.5v 3.7v
6 input current 1.3A--13A 4.5A
7 screen on Current 25mA
8 Quiescent Current 1mA
9 Power Down Current 350uA
10 Efficiency 92%
11 Screen Size 0.96" OLED
12 Fire Method Single Button
13 USB charging for battery Yes
14 Software upgrade No
15 Charging for Mobile Phone Yes

Specs for SX130 Chip from YiHi product listing:
YiHiEcigar SX130 30W

Please note:
Neither site list USB as Passthrough for the SX130 chip- Only for charging

This is not a Manufacturing flaw. It is a selling flaw brought on mostly by Seller misinformation, Chinese misinterpretation and user misunderstanding. USB cannot support High Drain so Passthrough would depend greatly on the charge condition of the battery and the coil resistance on the mod.
Failure to understand may cause USB or Mod failure.

You're using the iPV Mini's spec. sheet, not the iPV Mini 2. I'm not going be using the Mini 2 as a pass through anyways like I stated before, I'm just using the USB charging port until I get another charger.

Yea, got the Mod thread confused and messed it all up. Sorry about that. Regardless, you are correct in NOT using Passthru as it is still not supported officially - i.e. by Yihi
YiHiEcigar SX330 V2 S 60w
USB for Charging

I linked that because the SX330v2c is likely the factory 70w upgraded SX330v2s chip and the V2c Data sheet is not available on site.
This is a Power upgraded chip specifically for the IPV and most likely simply the Firmware upgrade to 70w with P4Y's logo on screen.
May not even actually be a production V2c but rather P4Y's designation for the upgraded/Flashed power SX330v2s since Yihi list all their production models.
Noted the SX330v3c 100w(closest designation) only list USB Charging yes

I went into a shop today to get some more juice. One of the employees asked me how I liked my mini 2 and said it looks like I've had it awhile. I looked down and saw where the paint had flaked off in three places. About 1/8th inch round for each. Ugh! About 3 weeks with it...Maybe! I'm not mad though! I love it.

On a side note, on occasion I have picked it up to vape and halfway through my draw I realized it was turned off. I don't remember doing it. Well, the same thing happened to me today on four different occasions. And lately I've just been locking it. The only time I give it the 5 click is when I charge it.
I made sure the battery compartment was clear and found a couple miniscule something or others on the bottom of the battery but nothing more than lint.

Anybody else had this happen?

(2) possibilities I know of not Failing related.
1) Battery low enough to cycle unit off - I've seen that a few times
2) upper contact needs a good cleaning. - My 70w is fine but I had to take the side off one of my 30w's a few days ago. I lifted the upper contact out of its mounting and cleaned it with an emery board. The mod was shutting of intermittently and when tightening the battery cap. Works like new again.
