Hi friends, I just ordered one of these and I was wondering if anyone else here is planning on ordering one? According to YIHI the v3 will be getting more upgrades in the future. It was just upgraded from 100 watts to 150 and more upgrades are to come. I have the ipv2 50 watt but the chip on it won't be supported for future upgrades like the v3 chip will. So i went ahead and made a order from Watts up. It is scheduled to ship out Sept 25th. The price was pretty good with free shipping. I have had ZERO problems or issues with my ipv2 so hopefully the V3 will be equal or better. I Was Just Curious If ANY ONE Else Is Getting ONE Of These IPV3 150 Watt versions?? If your interested watts up is taking orders now for Sept delivery.it's cost is 133. Which isn't bad considering it's only 24 more dollars than the ipv2 was. 150 watts on a regulated mod seems pretty crazy . I can't wait to give it a try. According to specs it can sub ohm down to .1 . I am hoping it performs well and I dont regret my purchase. Ipv2 performs great so I have high hopes. Il let you all know how it does after its arrival in sept. So who else is ordering one?? Seems like a pretty good deal especially since it will be getting future upgrades to the software.

No, I'm going to hold on to the ipv2 as a back up just in case. I probably should sell it to get some of this money back but I would have a rough time parting with it. The cost of the ipv3 is only about 24 more dollars than the ipv2 was. I don't know, I might consider selling it.. guess I'll have to think about it.. :)

As I've told sis already privately, I got my IPV3 as well.

To tell the truth, I like my IPV2 better.

I like the button better on the 2. The 3 feels like I'm pressing a ball bearing into my thumb.
I like the size of the 2 better. It's not THAT much if a difference, but , ... Yeah.
I dislike having a touch sensor that does absolutely nothing.
I dislike having a mini USB that is useless for charging
I dislike the memory function, which I always seem to inadvertently trigger and change my wattage.
I hate having to think about battery marriages.
I really hate the noncorporeal energy based aliens that live inside my 3 that sing show tunes all the time. The ones that live in my 2 sing classic rock.

That said, inexplicably, and this shouldn't really be the case for batteries in series, I do like that the power lasts longer.
