As long as there is no legal ban, the ability to restrict PV use is limited to the policy of the employer / and other Public places ..
If the employer has no formal policy, then by using a PV in that workplace, you encourage the implementation of a policy ..
If there is no formal policy, yet a supervisor asks you to not use the PV in the work space, and you continue to do so anyway, you risk alienation and being branded not a Team Player ..
The one thing that you can count on is, if there is no policy now, there will be one formulated sooner or later ..
So, the question you have to ask yourself : "Is it worth it .. ??" If you think it is, keep clouding it up until the policy comes down and you've succeeded in becoming a pariah ..
