Hi,
I made a small order from wizard labs to make some small juice bottlles for the first time. Been looking through the TPA thread and can't find one where it is used alone.
I ordered some RY4 Double Flavor(TPA) and some others.
is 15% a good starting point or way too high?
thanks
Start with 5% you can always add more.
Look at michaelsil1's post thats a really good reference and always start low then add in 1% increments untill you've reached your desired taste. Steeping is an important factor in this process. RY4 is a tobacco and NEEDS to steep anywhere from 2 days to a month. SO let it steep first, taste, adjust. To speed up steeping fill a thurmos cup with very hot tap water, drop in the bottle, cover and let it cool to room temperature. remove the bottle shake the heck out of it and repeat the entire process 2 more times.

I'm thinking it would be a good idea (when posting the list above) to include a link to the original thread - and even more importantly, tell people that there were not very many people giving their opinions when the list was compiled. Many of those recommendations are based on ONE person's input...and we all know how taste varies.
Example: we just tasted our Brown Sugar last night - we mixed it at 5% (the list indicates 15-20%)...and we sputtered & gagged with the intensity of the burnt-cotton-candy-sugar intensity. I would never add that to any blend at more than 1-2%.
'Not trying to be a grumpy-newbie (or tell anyone how to post). I just know I would have ruined a LOT of mixes (and wasted a lot of money/time), if I would have taken that list as something more than what a few people suggested.
Happy mixing!
