I realize now that is the way to do it. Ths way I will be all ready when the time comes that I am around my computer when they first open. I will give em a chance and I hope their juice is worth all of the effort as I really would like to have some of those aromatics.

I hope it works out for you, I have only had one of their Aromatics so far, Devil Dog!, and it's fantastic.

If you are a fan of naturally extracted tobaccos, I highly recommend Goodejuice's house brewed line. Awesome liquids AND ridiculously fast processing and shipping.

I know that I am new to vaping and I understand that with every particular hobby or interest comes it's own unique set of customs or quirks that one must become familiar with and deal with. However after multiple failed attempts to place an order with Ahlusion I feel compelled to ask this question. Is Ahlussion really worth all the inconvenience and hoop jumping required to just place an order? I understand that people tend to want something more when they are denied or limited access to it. In my last FAILED several attempts to make a purchase from this vendor I couldn't help feeling as if I were on the other side of the velvet rope hoping to be selected to enter Studio 54 during their heyday in the 80's. In reading the Ahlusion web site they claim to be all about customer service and maintaining high quality product production. However their "don't care attitude toward new potential customers makes me wonder just how good their customer service really is. Honestly this vendor seems to be more like a private club than a business. Perhaps they should represent themselves as just that, a private club that is currently not taking on new members. Then when the time comes they can reopen their books and take on some new member. Meanwhile they wouldn't be wasting peoples time trying to make a purchase only to have the store close while you are standing in line to check out. Are they really that good to justify all the B.S. I literally had to wait until today when I was off to be able to place my order and while loading my cart they closed down. Now the next available time to order will not be until Tuesday, and who knows how long they will remain open. I understand that they can only produce so much juice in a day. No problem they should at least let you place your order and then they can email you with an expected date of production. What other vender can I go to to purchase really good high quality juice comperable to Ahlusion? Thanks Stu

You answered your own question :)

Our own human instinct lets us know that this is a great marketing tool :p You basically said yourself how it makes you feel when you are denied access....and likened it to a popular club that you just CANT get into.

To think that they are oblivious to this element of their business would be assuming they aren't very smart....at all. Considering their business seems to be doing well, I definitely don't think that is the issue.

On the other side, I'm sure part of the reason they do it IS also because they have no desire to take in more orders then they are comfortable with.

Consider it a win/win for them.

What I think you fail to see is that Ahlusion is already a pretty large company compared to other e-juice businesses. They are mainly a wholesale business making juices for other companies. Making juice for the end user is kind of a side gig for them.

There are no hoops, grief, smoke, mirrors nor special club. It says right on their website when they will be open. If they were open all the time there would be months of backlog. That's unacceptable in most any business. So to stop that, they must have a daily capacity. Several e-liquid vendors use this business model. They're closed on the weekends and Federal Holidays. Which Monday happens to be one of.

So on Tuesday try again. It's really not anything to get your panties in a bunch about. I'd be surprised if you didn't like what you get. Most, if not all of the flavors are natural extracts; as far as tobaccos, fruits, teas and vanillas.

Stu, it really depends on if your tastes match up with what Ahlusion offers. For me, it's absolutely worth the effort (I wouldn't use the word grief). For you, it might be...or it might not be. While I believe that Ahlusion is one of the very best e-liquid companies in America, there are many that disagree.

It's not so hard or at least it wasn't for me. I made an account, then ordered. They clearly state they open at 8am and close when they are at capacity. I actually placed my first order around 11:30 so it's not like a five minute window, I think my order this morning was around 9:30am.

The first time I tried to register they weren't taking new customers, so I checked back in a week and they were. It wasn't really a big deal. They state on the site it will take 3-5 business days for your order to ship, so I wouldn't expect it to ship the next day.

I can't actually tell if you've registered or not yet but it's not a mystery and there is no gate. Show up at the designated time and order. If they aren't taking new customers, which you should check prior to putting items in a cart, check back in a few days. It's e-liquid, there's lots of it from a lot of vendors, no need to rage post.

I have a huge list of juices and vendors to try and don't need everything now; I'm into vaping for the long hall, no hurries or worries.

The only grief I experience from Ahlusion is when I press the submit order button, I'm saying yes to the juices I'm ordering but saying no to the dozens of others I'm looking forward to from them. Though that grief quickly turns to appreciation that I won't run out of great things to try anytime soon.

There's lots of good juice makers out there. If you don't like the way they do business, buy from someone else. Complaining here doesn't really help anything.

Actually it helps new people like me. I tried placing an order as well but gave up due to the frustration. I have noticed that no one has said, "This stuff is WELL worth the hassle" as well...

Thanks OP. I ordered 5 juices from other companies instead and they all shipped the following day. I cannot wait.

I agree with you whole-heartedly. There's a few other 'artisan' vendors out there that do the same thing. I got caught up into all of the hype when I first started too. Once I was able to get an order in, it took a couple of weeks to receive. All this hype and anticipation.....only to be extremely disappointed in the juice. Not to mention the price. I don't care if the container is beautiful, cute little cards in the box, sweet little charms on the bottles. GIVE ME MY JUICE! :) Needless to say, I don't order from them anymore because I've found SO many other vendors out there that provide good juice, fast shipping and get my repeat business :).

Thank the gods not everyone thinks like you do. Ahlusion and Alien Visions both limit orders but for far different reasons than you are imagining here.

They close once they reach capacity for the day to ensure that customers who really wanted it and took the time out of their busy day to make ordering a priority dont have to wait 2-3 weeks before its even shipped like a ton of other vendors I could name.

Its as simple as that.

Is it going to tick a few people off? Sure it is but its a far smarter system than a lot that I have seen and Ive been vaping on and off for quite some time now.

Most of the juice vendors selling e-liquids dont have the manpower or the facilities to keep everyone happy...youd be surprised at how many are run from someone's home and then eventually take over their lives...so it ends up being a choice between two evils.

You can either anger a handful of people who didnt get their order in before you reached capacity while pleasing the 300 who did......or take orders 24/7 and piss off everyone who orders from you because of ridiculous wait times.

I'd prefer the former any day of the week.

Zapped, I've looked at both Ahlusion and AV's websites and there aren't any juices there that interest me. I was talking about other artisan, boutique vendors. My point being, I don't need exclusivity to build anticipation only to be disappointed by juices that were highly recommended. I have 30ml bottles of such juice that I'll probably never vape because even after a couple of months of steeping (which I find ridiculous), they don't taste any better than the day out of the mailbox.

It's all subjective, and I realize that. But, to tell this new vaper they shouldn't be whining or complaining isn't helping them. We all started out new, learned the ropes (sometimes the hard and expensive way), and looked to veterans for guidance. And, not everyone is at the stage to be confident enough to try DIY. It's challenging enough to figure out the hardware, the cost and what type of juices they like now vs. next month. Let's give Stu a break and try to be more helpful than critical :).

Stu, if you'd like some vendor recommendations, please PM me. I'll be happy to share.

My apologies then for misunderstanding you. Im used to seeing these kinds of complaints several times a week by people who dont understand how the "closed when we reach capacity" system works.

Taste is subjective...I absolutely love Hype and Christys Cappucino from Ave.....Kona Velvet Milkshake is really great too but unless you and I share similar tastebuds you could end up hating all three of them. This is the reason that I tend to listen more to peoples opinions on juice when we have similar tastes.

It might be helpful if the OP could post what flavors theyve tried and liked and hopefully someone who shares their affinity for that flavor profile can chime in with recommendations.

The good thing about the sheer volume of suppliers out there is that chances are sooner or later they will find one thats a perfect fit.

The juice is well worth ordering around their business hours. ;)

My intent was not to complain though after three attemps I now realize that the early bird in this case catches the worm. When in Rome do as the Romans do. I get it. My wish list is loaded and at 801AM on Tuesdaay my order will be placed. Wishing all a happy holiday.
Stu

Good luck, I'm sure you'll get it to work for you.

They've been well worth ordering for me, but I've never consider it a hassle. If someone considers it a hassle I can't even guess if it would be worth it for them.

Only thing I can say for sure is Mt Baker is very cheap and ships very fast, and always available to order from. Lots of new vapers seem to like them too. I'll never order from them, but if ordering from other vendors is a hassle.. giddy-up.

Thanks, I am not saying I wont ever order from them but I agree with the OP about a lot things. It amazes me how fanatical and defensive people get on here about different juices/vendors. Maybe I am just so new that I don't "get it" yet but at this point I have ordered from three vendors so far and had NO issues save for trying to order from alusion. The comment about making buying from ahlusion a priority in ones day literally made me spit up my coffee.

Maybe when I am retired I will make buying something from an online vendor a priority but for now when I am work that is my priority. I am loving my Halo juices and hopefully will have a package waiting for me when I get home from some place called Fuzion.

Hope you find the flavors and vendor you're looking for OP! :D

Never bought from them or tried any of their products myself, but I will say this...... This thread made me check out their website for the first time just now..... Truly a exceptional product, or sly marketing ploy???? I don't know, BUT RIGHT NOW I WANT TO BE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THAT DANG "VELVET ROPE"!!!!!!!!!!! :rickroll:

Well..... maybe...... I placed an order with TFA this past week with no hassle or time frames, and it shipped the next day. 27 flavors coming my way, baby!!!!!
