Wow, Nicotine Giant is quick. I ordered on Tuesday at 2:30 pm my time and it's already been delivered.
Mixing a batch today. It could be a couple of weeks before an opinion is formed. I will definitely report back on progress though.
Not saying you should but have you ever tried speed steeping in a crockpot? I just tried it and got fantastic results - I'd have to a/b a 2-3 week steep against it to see if it's truly as effective but it was way better than before the crockpot.
Unfortunately, I'm not tasting alien Visions in Magic Mix at all.
I scooped up Fortuna Strike as well because of the plum component but I'm not sure I get AVE from that one either. I've settled on a 5:1 DIY mix of 555 and double chocolate for the time being.
So on the sniff test the mix smells somewhat similar to Bobas.
I did Django @ 15% instead of the recommended 20. IMO the flavor was too much at 20. I also added 2% Magic Mix. The color looks good.
I saw somewhere online that Magic Mix is the former Fortune Strike rebranded. I don't know if that's true or not, I think it was reddit.

Color looks spot on!
I am trying a small sample of it now. It's good and hits some of the same notes as Bobas. It's only on a 4 day natural steep.
Okay, this is good. I am definitely tasting a raisin note from the Magic Mix, and the 15% translates close to what Boba's is all about. I think it needs a bit of sweetener. I think I am going to add .25% of Brown Sugar TFA. Btw, I did not add the ACV.
The ACV isn't obvious in taste but more what it does to the throat hit (atleast from my initial testing).. I'm hopign Chef's gets there stuff together with their merchant - I've been trying to order for over a week now.. They have Magic Mix for $5 for a 30ml.. Thanks so much for the update!! Maybe we'll get closer!
Also good point on the sweetener... I guess my internal debate so far has been should I try EM or sucralose.. It doesn't seem like a sucralose sweet - I was hoping that Magic Mix would have whatever that sweetness is in it.
As if things weren't looking bad already, their website domain has expired....wish I had a chance to put in one last big order.
