Thanks! got me some springs and a fancy end cap spider! :D

Sweet, those look cool. Too bad they don't make designs for the extended caps. I hope the new springs work well. I just gave my Provari another clean, this time getting off more of the dirt on the positive battery connection point than I ever have...hadn't had an early shut off yet. That was probably the problem, but new springs for $1.25? Yes please!

What do you feel is the most effective way to do that? TIA.

I had to apply a lot of pressure with a Q-tip that was slightly damp. I didn't use alcohol but I'm sure that would have helped. However my unit shut off again, so I'm thinking it may be the spring. At least I really HOPE its the spring lol..

Just got my new spring in this morning and installed it. I will monitor the low battery flash and post back if it has improved.

Awesome, please let us know! I don't want to resort to thinking that the couple times I've dropped my Provari is what is causing the problem... *shudders*

I'm sure at some point I'll have an update...When I replaced the spring at 11a.m. my battery showed 3.9, and now at 7:40p.m. it's showing 3.7. Is it possible the new spring somehow helped efficiency? It doesn't seem like it was doing this well before...I use the regular 18490 battery... I guess it could be all in my head.

LOL! $1.25 springs that improve battery life? Sounds like Provape imbues some magical powers into their new springs haha. But seriously, that would be crazy, and I am glad so far its working out.

Dalton, do you ever the issue of the Provari shutting off (i.e. false dead battery) or are you just monitoring the early LED flash? I have both, except the early LED flash follows up with an early shutoff, which is reset by re-inserting the battery.

So far I have only noticed the early LED flash.

Okay for my update, the LED FINALLY started blinking just now at ~7:45p.m. I'm thinking I must be vaping less often then normal because I'm using a joose I don't really care for till my new stuff comes in tomorrow... I can't comprehend a single 18490 battery lasting that long on a normal day...

In any case, it appears to be working flawlessly so far.

Great news Dalton! I hope mine ship soon, its been a few days, but I know it says it could take 1-2 weeks. I'm anxious to put these to the test. I recleaned mine with that 91% alcohol stuff and I haven't had an early shut off yet, and I replaced the spring with the stock endcap. Batterys at 3.7 looking good so far. I love the simple solutions to Provari problems.

Springs will be shipping Thursday and we should be able to get caught up for those who are waiting.

Order shipped, thanks for that! I have a feeling this new spring will be great, as just switching in the old stock cap spring seems to help after an alcohol dipped Q-Tip rub-down (mmm lol). No LED flashing early either. Any plans for future improvement options?

sorry to hear... early blinking... i know this is not an option for all, but i sent my first one in (first run) for a code E8 coming up once ever other day or so, for no reason, with no detriment to functions.... after i ordered another one; so i would not be without my regulated variabl power vape.... sent it off once i got the second Vari shipped.
Installed the new spring today. LED started flashing at 3.7. No early shut offs yet. If I can run the battery to 3.3 without early shutoff, thats still a win. Otherwise, I think it must be my Provari itself :( :( :(

Thats a good idea, I wish I could afford a 2nd Provari at the moment, I definitely wouldn't mind having two.

Unfortunately, after the blinking at 3.7v, the random shutoffs are occuring at 3.6v still. Going to give it the best cleaning I can tomorrow and give it one last shot. Otherwise I'll have to send it in :( How long does it take to get it back? I hope it can be fixed. Also how do I go about doing this? Last e-mail I sent to Provape about this problem I did not receive a reply.

PM monsterkenny... he'll fix you right up.
It took very little time for them to fix ... the time was shipping about 3 to 4 days.
