If Liquid nicotine gets banned I can picture the scene........
You walk slowly but purposefully down a dim lite alley and meet with a shady looking character beside a foul smelling dumpster and you say " I'm looking for 50ml of some 36mg, you holdin'?" and he replies "yeah man, I got what you need, uncut, straight from China, this s**t is Da bomb! It'll cost ya' a C note" there is a slight of hand exchange and you both fade into the darkness.

It could happen. I guess the point I'm trying to make is that we could be turned into some kind of criminals for doing what is basically just "smoking a cigarette".

Totally unrealistic. He would not say, "this s**t is Da bomb!" .... He would say, "This s**t is da shizz nizzle snip snap sap!"

Get it right man... 8-o

Hi guys. I try to hope for the best with the FDA and the ban of e-cigs, but to be on the safe side I stocked up for 2 years anyway. If there is no ban, then I am set for a long time. But if there is a ban, I'll be sitting pretty.:D
I don't trust them. Given there history, there is no reason to think they will be understanding and let us continue using e-cig until they are approved.

Vince, how are you storing it? I heard if you refrigerate it, it only lasts up to 6 months.

My research indicates that shelf life is 18 to 24 months if stored properly in a cool dark place.
There is no real solid info on this as of yet, info is there for PG and VG shelf life but no real conclusive data on nicotine liquid.

I have been refrigerating mine for almost a year, and just rotating my stock out and no bad juice yet. But I did hear something on the refrigeration and I think it may have been that someone was taking it out and putting it back over and over. heating and cooling my have an adverse effect.

I am thinking that the FDA never approved of cigarettes. They just put a warning on the label .. My attitude is .. save all the legal fees, put a warning on the bottles and be done with it .. Analogs have 1,000 time the chemicals as what's in our juice .. Tars and such. OK FDA, I am warned .. Now lets vape.

I saved the most import thing for last. Kick backs to the FDA from the tobacco industry. I don't think they should get a dime.

I agree Trash, the problem is that e-cigs don't generate the money of cigarettes. If they taxed the e-cig like real ones and the government got huge amounts of money from them we would not even be talking about a ban.

In regards to my last post, I re-checked some sources and according to Dow Chemical, PG will last 2 years if stored at less then 40 degrees "Celsius". Not Fahrenheit like I first thought, so it seems there is no need to refrigerate. Also recommended to keep it away from UV light.
This also checks out with shelf life of nicotine patches, as they have liquefied nicotine in them.
