Is Getting An Order From Fastech Like Christmas?

Well looks like I'm now waiting for Christmas too. I just made my first fasttech purchase moments ago. I get impatient having to wait more than a week so this will probably drive me bonkers. But I have always enjoyed the anticipation of getting my new stuff. Now I have lots of time to anticipate.

I haven't.

I just received a Panzer clone from FT. An awesome piece, BTW. Fantastic threading and finish, and even better switch. Hands down, the nicest mod I've purchased from them including the Nemesis clone. Gives my V3 Flip a run for the money.

That one had a scheduled ship date, which came and went, and then went to "restocking". High demand for this one, I'm guessing.

Had the same issue when the red o-ring Aqua was listed. (Another nice one!)

You must have patience when ordering from FT. They have always delivered....eventually. And should there be a problem, they are good at resolving them. I've never had to return something, but have had to ask for replacement parts when an item proved defective. Of course, then there is another wait.........

I made an order 03/3/14 it left Singapore 06/3/14 still not here not even in Canada yet according to Canada Post
This was my first order from them I got some Cheap drippers I only use them for taste testing
I will never make another order from them If it was 2 or 3 weeks like some here say that would be ok but I would rather pay more than wait for ever!

Fasttech, well, kind of like that except it's more like "pick any one, as long as it's not fast or reliable..."

Seriously, the longest I've had to wait is two weeks after it's shipped.

I had an order wait 45 days to be filled and then they cancelled it and repaid me my money. Last order took 22 days. Never order something you can't live without.

OK, but that's still like 3 weeks total isn't it? The vendors I order from have my stuff in my hands in no more than 3 days!

I get it, you probably save 50% or more by using them if you are willing to wait and you know what you're looking for. I guess the biggest issue I have, and maybe it isn't an issue with many of the products, is that I can't seem to find where they list the manufacturer of the item. If I want an HCigar Nemesis and not a Tobeco one how do I know? If I want an EHPro or HCigar Aqua but I don't want to buy the Tobeco how do I know?

I know there is always a gamble when you buy these things especially on sites like ebay but I can't seem be able to tell what is what on Fasttech. They list like 10 different Kafuns, which one is which? I'm pretty sure the one I want isn't the $15 model but there are 4 listed at $21. You get my point.

They use different vendors to keep up with the orders, not all the vendors allow their names to be used since they are allowing it to sell cheaper there. Some of the items might not make their level QC perhaps but are fine for liquidating through FT is the impression I get.

I haven't ordered from FT, but I'm about to place an order with a vapeshop in Hong Kong, which is probably similar in terms of shipping time. What I have heard is: if you REALLY NEED it, don't order from ____ (someplace on the other side of the planet)... if it's something you'd like to have, but without any time pressure, then definitely take advantage of the low prices wherever you find 'em.

The order I'm placing is for an eGo-C Twist 1300 -- for a backup battery, since I use iTaste vv3 and love it dearly. Also a carto tank, since I'm JUST getting into cartos, plan to play with them "on their own" for a while, so if it's 2-3 wks till I get the carto tank and pre-punched cartos for it, no biggie, and the prices on ALL those items are just un-freaking-believable. However I'm ordering a 2nd vv3 battery from a place in Arizona, because I know that even with regular 1st class mail, I'll get it within a week, which is fine, it's for backup also.

Makes perfect sense. I know that for a particular RDA I was looking at here, I can get that RDA plus two others I have been mulling over for the same total price. Three for one is a very compelling arguement.

I have so many packages on their way from FT at any given time that its like christmas... At one point the mailman had to balance 5 FT packages and 2 from ebay... Signing hell... But it was really fun to open ^^...

But once you get your order, youre already waiting for the next one

My Panzer clone finally arrived yesterday. It only took a month and 3 days to arrrive. Demand for the new Panzer clone was higher than they expected. I almost forgot about it. As far as mech mods are concerned, this new Panzer is the nicest clone I've seen. It is really a well built mech. The price was too good to pass up.

Stylemaster, I've thought of that and is one of the reasons I don't order with them. The other thing that makes me reluctant to use them is the thought of how bad it could be if I needed to return or exchange something. Every US vendor I have dealt with would jump through flaming hoops to make sure I was happy, I don't think I'd get that from Fastech.

I may have to suck it up and place a bulk order with them at some point though, their prices are just redonkulous.

Well bfr, I'll have to let you know, the ego I ordered arrived d.o.a....tried it, after charging, on 4 different toppers, it would not fire any of them.....so I emailed them and they were very prompt to issue me an RDA (return #), they had me mail it to their Fla. office and I checked their site and they already have the order awaiting the return, so....maybe not so bad on returns....we will see!


eta...and they will pay me for return shipping!!!

I know it isn't that long but I've hear you're supposed to set expectations for 6-8 weeks and if you get your stuff earlier then to count yourself lucky. No way I could deal with that, I get frustrated when my orders take longer than 3 days! lol

i so agree you, its been a week already, waiting for 1100ohms batteries and its comming from China. Now i think i'll be waiting a long time, after reading these post.
