Sudden changes in temperature will cause most BCCs to begin flooding, (IMO regardless of the fill level).
Quick hard drags will cause flooding if the tank's draw is tight (too little airflow).
Loose atomizer head or loose tank base.
Gurgling and reduced vapor are symptoms of flooding.
To clear gurgling remove the tank from your PV, wrap the drip tip end of the tank in a tissue/paper towel/etc, point the drip tip toward the ground, use a throwing motion like you were throwing the tank at your feet. Holding the tank firmly, give the tank three or four good fast ball swings. You should be good to go.
Gurgling may also be caused by condensation collecting in the drip tip well. Remove the drip tip and look for liquid. If it is use a tissue or qtip (I've even use my shirt tail, in a pinch).
