My setup is a Subox Mini. I am a MTL hitter. I really like the 1.2 ohm coils, but have leaking issues, as have others. Have done lots of research, but many of the fixes involve the horizontal coils and don't seem to easily transfer to the vertical ones that I have (adding more cotton for example).
After trying various fixes, I finally wicked the RBA with the ready made coil and set it up. Yay! No more leaks! And I can re-wick it and use it several times, bonus!
Problem 1: I'm not a sub-ohm vapor, I'm a happy toodle puffer. I'm currently vaping this .5 ohm coil at about 15-20W (20W=more flavor but more coughing!)
Problem 2: I don't have the financial means/justification to buy the necessary equipment to wrap my own coils to achieve higher ohms at this time (wire, ohm reader, etc.).
Question: Is sub-ohm vaping at lower wattage and a MTL hit a problem, for me or the device? This is still more than what I am used to, but I could get used to it if it solved the leakage issue, even if I did just buy a new 5 pack of 1.2 coils!
