The irony being it's oxygen that ages and kills us if no disease gets us first lol.....
Maybe the PG and VG will counteract the oxygen and keep us from ageing! Wouldn't that be nice ? ;)
In all seriousness, nic is still a poison, and it's role as a carcinogenic isn't clear. At least that's what my physiology professor fiancé told me. However, he is still over the moon that I am vaping and not smoking. The only thing he's concerned about is how much I vape. If I cut the nicotine, I don't think he would have much to say about it at all.
However, if how I feel is any indication, I.E. increased energy, can smell and taste again, can walk up more than ten stairs!, etc., vaping is saving lives!!! If it keeps you off analogs, especially if you don't use nicotine, it's a wonderful thing, and I forsee little no to risk. :)
(For those who love their nic, I use 18 mgs. I am not against nicotine, and it might be fine without all the added carcinogens in analogs. I just assume since you can get nic poisoning, no nic vape juice must be safer? Just my opinion.)

we yet dont know what vaping will do to us 30 years from now, however it does look promising so far. and as an added bonus we get to vape for science and the wellfare of generations to come. we lead the way into the future.
it is our responsibility to vape on!

Yes, it's my responsibilty to vape. *blows out cloud of delicious peachy vapor*
Well, I guess I have to for future generations. SIGH

Yeah, well, even aside from cancer....smoking damages the arteries. Now, we don't know the effect of the chemicals in vapor on our bodies very well. We know it can be a bit stressful to kidneys, etc. (or at least that's one of the reasons you see "drink lots of water" among several other reasons).

WE DON'T KNOW for sure. We basically HOPE that it's OK. I sure do. Every indication is that it's less harmful than smoking. However, I still want the best juice I can get. To me..."Best" = fewest chemicals, not best flavor. If we could get 100% clean nicotine in 100% pure PG and then add a drop or two of flavoring...that would be MY preference. I know those sensitive to PG would have issues with that.

Anyway, add to it the complications of the PG/VG ratios, nic base quality differences, and flavorings and additives....it's all a crap shoot.

Here it is folks the million dollar question. Is it okay to vape for fun? That is a broad question for it can be answered in a multitude of ways just like it is now in this thread. What you need to ask yourself is this do I feel better since beginning to vape? Have I noticed any adverse reactions to my vapping? There are few others as well point is it is personal to each one of us being that we are all different in some small way. I have been told that since I quit tobacco burning that I look better, healthier as it were. I know I feel healthier and I am down to a nic level that I never thought possible. This month is my 1yr vaporversary as I like to call it. I also have a goal to eventually stop vapping as well. I for one am grateful to the Chinese pharmacist who because he lost his father to smoking related cancer pushed ahead and got this wonderful device to the public. The lives that have been changed are uncountable. So I say yes its okay to vape for fun and until it can be proved otherwise I say vape away and enjoy your tobacco free life.

It's not meant for recreational use. It's better than tobacco but the body is not meant to inhale VG, PG the nicotine and flavor. Some juice will melt or frost up tanks. If it does that to plastic what does it do to your body. I hope someday to taper off of vaping but for now I happy with it being better than inhaling 2-4 large cigars a day down to a nub and wiping brown goo off my lips and fingers. LOL Addiction is one of those things that is hard to explain to normals. What ever they are. Most times there is both a physical and mental factor to it.
