Is it possible to ignore an entire social group?

agree that community is important, but I, too, and getting irritated by seeing a certain groups posts constantly on the new topics page. a way to ignore them would be a god-send. i've been logging on to ecf less and less as their posts become more and more prevalent, and ridiculous.

I know how you feel and the reason that those groups are constantly on the new posts page is because those threads are posted to frequently. It doesn't bother me, I just ignore what I don't particularly like.

I hope you don't leave the ECF because of those threads.

It has nothing to do with being offended. I just don't want to turn this into a group bashing thread.

lol It already HAS turned into that. All it takes is common sense to know exactly WHO and what group they are talking about. No different than using symbols to avoid censorship IMHO.

let's just put it like this: if I wanted to be exposed to those topics, there would be a place I would go to regularly, but I choose not to, because I cannot stand certain aspects of the groups mentality, and many of those posts wholeheartedly reflect those aspects in their title alone
